Summary- (Part 1)

• Ahana Ahuja, daughter of Naveen Ahuja (owner of Ahuja Group of Companies) returned to her home after twelve years of separation. She had lived with her maternal family all those years after the death of younger sister, Aarushi. She also had an elder brother named Nikhil Ahuja.

• Arpita Ahuja, Ahana's mother, had accused Ahana of her younger sister's murder, which was the reason why she had always been venomous toward her daughter. After the arrival of Ahana back in the mansion, she never talked to her once and avoided her as much as possible.

• Dev Kapoor, owner of Kapoor Industries and best friend of Naveen Ahuja, had proved to be a great support to Ahana all those twelve years and was still supporting her in every aspect. He believed in Ahana and never accused her of the crime. He also offered her intership in his company after her arriving back in the city.

• Dev had a small family which included his wife and two children, Rheyan and Eva. Rheyan Kapoor, had spent his last twelve years in America, oblivious of the murder fiasco. Eva was a teenager who was going to step into adulthood next year. Dev's wife, Nalini Kapoor, was the only constant support to Arpita. She also believed that Ahana had killed Aarushi, the reason she also hated her.

• Nikhil convinced Ahana to accept Dev's offer and join his company. He was the another support system Ahana had after Dev. The brother sister relationship had mended a lot after their younger sister's death as Nikhil was greatly affected by the incident as well.

• The day Ahana went to meet Dev in his company to inform him about her decision, her first encounter with Rheyan after twelve years take place. Though it wasn't a good one. She mistakenly used Rheyan's private elevator to which Rheyan reacted in an unexpected way. This was how she ruined her first impression on him.

Ahana couldn't fathom the fact that the Rheyan, who was friends with her and her brother, had changed a lot in those years beyond anyone's imagination.

• Later on Dev introduced Rheyan to Ahana formally but her real identity was kept a secret.
Rheyan, upon hearing her first name, thought that the girl sitting before him was his childhood friend but get disappointed when Dev mentions her full name, Ahana Sharma.

From that exact point of time, Rheyan had developed a disliking for her.

• Dev informed Rheyan about Ahana being an intern in their company and him being her boss, he denied immediately. Somehow Dev managed to get the upper hand and Rheyan had to agree which costed Ahana as he made her work hard, way out of league.

• Rheyan's relationship with his family wasn't an ideal one. He was not very fond of his parents or his sister. He believed that they were the ones who deliberately separated him from the family and left him alone in America where he never wanted to go. He held them responsible for what happened with him in the past years.

• Ahana got the hint of problem between father-son duo and take the responsibility of reuniting Kapoor family once again as Dev had showed his trust in her of bringing his old son back. So, she suggested Dev to invite Rheyan on dinner and directly talk to him about their issues as she believed there was a communication gap between the father-son duo.

• At dinner Dev invited Ahuja family also and held Ahana back with them for dinner. All the family members conversed, ate and enjoyed their time. Also, they managed to convince Rheyan to give them one more chance to mend their relationships.

• The same night after dinner, Naveen ushered everyone with a good news that Nikhil would be the next C.E.O. of their company. This was the birthday present given by him to his son which was in the following month. At the mention of Nikhil's birthday, Ahana couldn't keep herself from bringing up the topic of Naveen and Arpita's anniversary on the same day.
