Original Darkwing Duck
Negaduck & Gosayln
Darkwing POV

Darkwing wasn't thrilled at the thought of a new hero cutting in on his turf. Don't get him wrong. Anyone working for the good of St. Canard was okay by his standards. However, he noticed that this new hero stayed to the shadows more than he did and proved quite malicious in their methods. They also seemed to attack regardless of if the villain in question was currently up to a no good in the moment. Sometimes he even attacked days after.

He put those thoughts out of his mind because right now his focus was on Gosayln. She had been kidnapped and Darkwing was on the roof, about to drop in and save her. He peered down on the heavily armed guards when he heard sounds of a fight. He caught sight of yellow blur, taking out the men in the room.

Gosalyn looked up and smiled at the chaos.

"Again?" A man's voice said, as another few bodies dropped. Dark wasn't sure who the voice was addressing.

"Clearly, I chose this," Gosalyn laugh slightly. Another body hit the floor. "Ease up, will ya? No need for a massacre. This isn't Invasion of the Madlorians."

She spouted the name of the a B rated horror movie she had seen recently.

"Glad to know being kidnapped and torture hasn't effect your humor or enthusiasm." The person in yellow growled and knocked out the last guard. Darkwing recognized the voice but it couldn't be.

"Ha! Those bozos are amtures." Gos laughed and Darkwing grimaced at that statement. "Now, are you going to let me down or not?"

The man hummed crossing the floor. Though his identity was concealed by the shadows of the near moonless night.

"Hey, quit being a jerk and do it already," she whined, pulling at the ropes that keep her tied up.

"And how will you explain to your father that you not only manage to escape but beat up all of Kingpig's men?"

The man crossed his arms as he step into the only sliver of light that shone down on Gos like a spit light. His eyes confirmed what soul dreaded that it was indeed Negaduck. Darkwing was shocked but Gosalyn was acting like this was a typical Tuesday night.

"Ugh, I'll figure something out. Always do." Negaduck grunted and step forward and started untying her.

"One of these days he'll catch on, you know," he said barely above a whisper. Gosayln dropped to the floor.

"You think he will?" She laughed and rubbed her wrist. She stopped, laughing and hide her wrist when she caught a glimpse of the villains face. "I just mean dad doesn't see anything he doesn't want to see. He would've noticed by now."

"You're hurt," Negaduck growled. "I'm gonna kill him."

Darkwing wasn't sure if the villain meant him or Kingpin. He also wasn't sure wanted to find out.

"You're not gonna kill anyone." She crossed her arms. "It's just some rope burn. Nothing more than what you given me."

Negaduck growled again. He didn't seem pleased at that memory. Though Gosayln seemed comfortable with him, despite the rescue, he was still Public Enemy Number Two but Darkwing was too stunned to jump down.

"That was a joke." She put her hands up in surrender.

Negaduck grabbed one of her hands. Darkwing almost flung himself off the roof but Gosayln just sighed. So her father was forced to watch the yellow clad duck looked over her injuries. Negaduck seemed content in his findings that she wasn't hurt to bad and let go. He turned to leave.

"You're wrong about your father. I think he's more observant than you give him credit."

"Oh no. Not you give him a compliment," Gosayln laughed.

"No one would believe you," Negaduck mumbled then barked a laughed as he marched out of the room. Gosayln looked around at the mess that was in front of her.

"Well dad's gonna have hard time believing this," she mumbled and made her way to another exit.

Dark ran towards the exit on the exterior of the building. Gosalyn popped open the door and smiled and ran to hug him. He asked the standard 'are you okay' questions and she said she was. He didn't even bother going in the building he was too busy wondering what had he just witnessed? But if Negaduck wanted to beat up the jackass that took Gosalyn then he was okay with it. After all life wasn't all black and white, especially when it came to Gosalyn.
