A/N: Gosalyn is aged up and has a sister named Rosalyn because I'm uncreative.

He blinked at the red head child. There was no way. He had lost hope years ago still, but he knew this was his daughter. Sure she was older but it had been five years. His ears rang as he called out to her.

"Gosalyn?"

The hero stared at him, but he didn't care. He wanted to be sure this wasn't a trick, and from the look in her eyes, he knew it was her. He stepped towards the girl and caught a right hook to the face.

"Get away from her!" Darkwing growled.

He glared. How could the idiot think he would hurt his own kid? Then again, what was she doing here, of all places? His eyes snapped back to her. She gasped and scrambled backwards. She looked scared. He was offended she thought he would hurt her. It was probably that hero's doing. He swung at Dark.

"Stay out of this, Dimwing. This is between me and her."

The hero was knocked to the ground. Negaduck headed towards Gosalyn, but she had disappeared. Darkwing grabbed his foot, slinging him to the ground. He rolled over just as the mallard jumped on top of him. Negaduck rolled on top and pointed the hero's on smoke gun in his face.

"Enough!" Gosalyn stomped. His eyes snapped upwards. She looked like she might cry.

"Gosayln," he tried again. He stood, forgetting the hero below him. "Do you know the lengths I've gone through to find you?"

"What are you talking about?" Darkwing jumped in between them.

"She's my daughter," he growled in the other's face.

"What?" The hero looked confused. "Now you're just gone insane."

"Ask her if you don't believe me!" he shouted and took a step back. The hero turned to the girl.

"Gosalyn, is that true?" Dark stared at the spite fire.

He had never seen her look this scared, no matter what amount of danger they were in. He just wanted to swoop her away.

"I just want to go home," she whispered, looking at the ground.

Dark scooped her up, and they disappeared into a cloud of smoke. He held her closer than ever. He brought her straight home. She beeline for the bathroom and took a extra long shower.

Watching her fathers fight over her was a nightmare come true. She didn't want to think about it. She knew she was going to have to explain, and she didn't want to. She hadn't told him for a reason. She avoided Negaduck for four years for a reason. He wasn't supposed to be there tonight. The intel said the place was empty.

She stood in the doorway as Drake sat on the end of her bed. He was hugging her pillow.

"Gos, we need to talk about it," he said. "He was convinced he knew you and you didn't deny knowing him."

"Promise not to get mad?"

"Gosalyn, I would never be mad at you. I just want the truth."

She had thought long and hard about how to tell him. She took a deep breath and sat on the bed by the headrest. He turned to face her.

"I'm a twin. We were identical. Are identical. Physically, at least. We never agreed on anything. So no one found it shocking that after he adopted us, she couldn't see past his suit, and she found it annoying that I could."

The gasp was deafening. She didn't look at him. She had to finish, or she never would.

"One day, I was playing with something I shouldn't have been. Something of Megavolt's that Launchpad had brought home, and it wasn't stable. I don't think she did it on purpose, but she might have. She's petty like that. It blasted me and I woke up in this universe. I searched for us in this universe. We had died in the same accident that Rosalyn," her voice trailed off. "That killed my parents. So I found my grandfather and convinced him to take me in. It wasn't hard. He was glad to have a grandchild back, regardless of how. I never meant for you to find me or for us to meet. But I wouldn't change it! I got you back. I don't want to lose you!"

"Gosalyn, why have you never told me this before?" She looked like she was going to cry.

"I was afraid if you know I was from that world or that Negaduck is... was my dad that you'd freak out."

"Why did you ignore him tonight?"

She launched herself across the bed and into his stomach.

"I don't want to go back! I hate her! I can't live under the same roof as her! Please! You're my dad now! Don't make me go back!" she balled.

She shook as she cried. He rubbed her back. He almost didn't notice the villain step in the room. Though he caught a movement in the corner of his eyes and looked up. Negaduck was staring at Gosalyn. He couldn't stand knowing she was in this universe and not being near her. Darkwing understood, so he said nothing to the villain. Though he needed to make sure Gosalyn was okay with it.

"Does this have anything to do with Negaduck?"

Negaduck balled his fisted but looked more worried about the answer than the question.

"Wh~what?" Gosalyn paused, steadying herself and looked at him. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, you've avoided him. You didn't speak to him. You don't want to go back. Did he," she cut him off by nearly throwing herself off the bed.

"No! No, you're wrong! He's my dad!" She looked panicked. "I didn't want to leave, and I didn't have a choice. But I'm not going back. Not because of him. Or because of you. Or because either one of your dumb capes! I would do anything for either of you, but I don't want to see my sister again. I would probably kill her on sight. So this is better."

"You really hate her that much?" Negaduck asked.

Gosalyn frozen. There was nowhere to run this time. She looked too Drake for help. He gave her a small nod. She turned to face her dad.

"She took my parents away from me. Twice. I'm not going to let her get the chance to do it again," she growled.

"Gos," Negaduck sighed. He held his hands open, and she crawled across the bed and fell into his arms. He ran a hand through her wet hair. "You should have come to me immediately. It would've been easier to fix then."

"I don't want to fix it," she sobbed.

"You truly want to stay with this hero?" he spat. She whimpered. He sighed, "And I thought your sister was the traitor in the family."

"You know it's not like that," she choked out. He shook his head.

"I know. If this is what you want," he trailed off, clearly not happy with the idea.

"Yes!" she squeezed him tighter. She whispered, "I love you."

After another moment, he let go.

"Listen here, Darkweak. I'll let her stay here as long as she wants, but the second she complains, I'll beat your ass and take her back." He turned to Gosalyn. "You can come see me whenever you want. And he better not try to stop you."

"I love you too," she smiled.

He groaned, but it only seemed less than half hearted felt to Darkwing. Negaduck left and the two of them settled in for the night, feeling more relieved than ever. Gosalyn because she didn't have to be his part of herself anymore, and Drake because he knew there was someone else out there watching out for Gosalyn.
