You know I felt bad that I didn't took this seriously while reading. I was not in the mood plus I'm not really fond of sadist and masochist.

Tbh the story has a great plot. Vampire domination and relationship between humans. The first chapters aren't that good to me but as the story progresses, you'll get deeper in the story.

Give it a try! For someone like me who doesn't like S&M, I got hooked all the way. Meaning, even though there are things that I didn't like in the story, the plot made its way to capture me.

I'm not going to give much spoiler because as I've said, I mostly skipped the recent chapters (I'll get back and read it to understand fully when Ihave time) so I'll just explain the last part.

Eric didn't die. He took the blame for the explosion and let Shell shoot him. He didn't die because he has a plate behind his clothes in his chest. They need to make a show so that the human and vampire won't start the fight which will lead to war.

More like, Eric played a 'Lelouch' move. He acted as a villain to get the earliest peace they can get. After that he resided far. He hid in a place and Shell often visit him.

It gave me a bittersweet feeling. Because all along Eric has been hiding ever since his parents ran away to live a peaceful life until the death of his parents... He's been running away, hiding his identity. He became a banker with a false identity.

He's half human, half vampire who holds a powerful pheromones. I want to explain further but since I skip chapters I can't explain without fully understanding the story so I'll get back here after re-reading (I don't want to write mistakes)

So, Eric died in front of them and live far away in peace. He's free as there's no one chasing him to die, but he's not completely free since he can't go back to where he was living before.

But on the brighter note, he can be with Shell. They are happily together now.

Note: The author said to make extra chapters but still there's no news about it. Let's just hope the author didn't plan on quitting 😭
