A week passed.
Emma had taken care of herself and the scar healed immediately, thanks also to Anna's help.
After a brief check she smiled at her

Anna put a hand on her shoulder.

Emma's eyes sparkled.

She finally could get up from that bed on which she spent whole days. When she walked out of the room, a feeling of freedom and happiness overwhelmed her.
She began to run down the corridors. She had to see her family. She wanted to feel their affection.

Everyone was seated at the table enjoying their dinner.There were screams and shouts, but there was silent as soon as they heard someone scream

<GUYS! I'M BACK!>
Everyone turned around.

<EMMA!> They all rushed towards her, filling her with hugs and kisses.

The children scattered doing what they were told.

He had never visited her since she woke up and hadn't even gone to greet her with the others.
They hadn't spoken to each other since he'd discovered the truth.
She looked at him with sad eyes as she approached her seat.

<I'm glad to hear that> he spoke to her without facing her as he continued to cut the meat on his plate.

When everyone finished dinner, the older ones helped clean up while the little ones got ready for bed.
