<are you guys leaving already? If you want you can stop for the night with us to rest.> said the old demon.

<we would like so much, but we can't. We promised our family that we would return today. We can't make them worry.> Emma said looking down.

<I see. Alright. But please stay just a few hours to regain some strength. You got very tired in the demon village. I will prepare you an herbal tea to get your strength back!>

<Thank you so much!> Emma smiled.

And as they walked towards the old house, Don walked over to Ray
<looks like a thoughtful grandpa. Don't you think so?> he whispered.

<you're right. His grandchildren are very lucky to have someone like him who takes care of them. They remind me of someone ....> Ray said, while his mind and Don's both thought of Yuugo and his "way of being thoughtful"

<What? Did you get a fever? Are you an idiot? Get your ass to bed and stay there until your body has cleared every single bacterium!>

<are you tired? Oh really...poor thing...what about bringing me a nice hot tea and recover your energies walking BEFORE I'll KICK YOUR ASS.>

<aw. Did you kiss Emma..? So cute.... Now if you excuse me, I would  like to kiss you too on the cheeks with my fist.>

<um ... okay. maybe he doesn't really remind me of THAT someone ..> Ray said regretting his words, while Don chuckled

When they arrived at the house, the elderly demon prepared the herbal tea and some sweets for the group.
Gilda and Don stood in the living room, talking to the nephew, while Ray and Emma asked the elderd demon  if he had any more informations about the promise.

<oh yeah! In that room. There are books about the supreme demon that you can read for get some informations. If you need anything I'll be happy to help you!> Said the elder demon.

And after receiving the demon's consent they began their research. Don and Gilda offered to help but Ray refused. He knew they needed some rest

After a couple of minutes the old demon entered  the room with a tray full of sweets and two cups of tea.
<here it is! Don't overdo it and try to take advantage of this time to rest a little!>

<Don't worry! we're the children of Grace Field! We love to rest while reading books!> Emma said with a chuckle

The demon put a hand on her head to caress her, smiling, and left the room closing the door behind him.

Minutes passed as the two devoured entire books.
<Look ,sweety! I found something interesting.>

<about what?> Emma said approaching Ray as she took a bite of a cookie

<this book is about the current demon queen and the five ruling families. They are the ones who hold the power to control demon villages through orphanages.>

<mmm...do you think that if we talk to them and tell them to drink mujika's blood, they will abolish orphanages?>

<yeah, and maybe we'll even manage to organize a pleasant game of cards with friends!>

<Really?!> Emma asked smiling

Ray raised an eyebrow.
<are you kidding, monkey? They'll never accept our offer! Their earnings would suffer a lot and even if they drank the cursed blood we cannot know for sure if they'll really stop eating human flesh on their own initiative. They could continue to eat it just for the fun of it>
