Chapter 25

Dave POV:

We sat at the table eating our food, shit was hella good I can't lie. She cooked steak, baked potato and broccoli. We had been sitting her not saying each other for a minute so I decided it was time to tell her about me being locked up. I know she going to ask why I was locked up so I could ever tell her the truth or keep lying and pray I don't get caught up.

"So I never told you why I was late coming to the hospital" I said looking up nervously
"You must have been reading my mind I was going to ask you about that." She said pulling her fork down, folding her hands looking at me.
"Well I was locked up" I said
"What? Why? Don't tell me you got caught up with this drug shit." She said looking serious

I sat there trying to decide if I wanted to tell the truth or not. Fuck it!

"Not quite."
"Well why were you locked up?" She ask now giving me her full attention
"Promise me you won't leave and we'll work things out?" I said nervously
"Dave wtf you talking about just tell me."
"Well I let this girl give me head at the trap and it happened more than once. Than I decided it was time to end the shit, so she called the police and told them I raped her. But I swear I never slept with that girl" I said putting my face in my hands I couldn't even look at her
Saying the shit out loud, make me even more disappointed in myself
"When was this? And how long as this been going on?" She ask calmly which scared the hell outta me
"About a mouth ago. She only did it twice." I said looking her in her eyes, so she can know I was telling the truth
" was this the same people you was on the phone with that day in the bathroom?" She said folding her arms
My eyes got big, cause how tf did she know
"Yea. Baby I'm sorry"
"So you lied to me and told me it wasn't nobody" she said standing up I followed her with my eyes as she walked to me
"I didn't know how to tell you at the time"
"Or you didn't want to. Did you see her after that?" She asked sitting next to me
"Yes bu..." she cut me off my slapping the shit outta me. This girl luck she not one of this hoes I would've killed her as.
"Keep yo hands off of me Ryan,I get that you mad damn. I said standing from my chair
"So while I was at home pregnant,you was somewhere letting a bitch suck your dick" she said was her eyes got watery
"You know what I'm not finna sit here and ask you why you do it shit. Cause it's not gone change shit. Nova is a week old and hear you got with this bullshit" she said standing up walking out the dining room. I grab her arm but she pulled away and turned around

"Baby I'm sorry, I never meant to let that shit gone do. It's not reason behind that shit. It didn't mean shit.
"Leave Dave please"
"How you gone put me out our house?"
"Are will leave" she said her eyes were getting supper Watery but she never let a tear fall
"Okay but what about me seeing Nova?"
"I'll never keep her from you,so just call when you wanna see her."
"So you leaving leaving me?"
"I need my space. You'll know later weather or not." She said walking away
Fuck I said slapping my hand down on the table, before walking out to go pack my clothes.

Ryan POV:

I had went to get Nova from my little sister, so she can go to sleep. I went up stairs to her room to give her a bath and get her ready for bed. She was a little fussy so it took a minute but we finally got it done and I was feeling her in her rocking chair.

Dave has lost his fucking mind. Yes my feelings or hurt but I won't let him see me all. He know what I went through went my last relationship and he gone go out in do this bs. I don't know what's next or what to do. We said it was just head but how could I believe him. And if it was just head do I want to throw away my whole relationship over some head. I wasn't sure I just needed time to think, but right now isn't the time for this to happen.I just had a baby, my business is taking off, my mother and sister leave next week. So without Dave here it's fine be hard.

I was knocked out of my thoughts when Dave softly knocked on the door. Walking into Nova's room

"I just wanted to see her before I left, but I see she is sleeping"
"Yea she just went to sleep" I said looking at nova, never looking up at him

Be bent down to kiss Nova on the cheek and kissed me in the forehead.
"I'm sorry and I'll willing to do whatever it takes to have my family back." He said l felt him burning a hole in the side of my face.
"I'm going to be staying at your old apartments you need me. I love y'all, y'all are my heart" he said before heading to the door
I couldn't bring my self to tell him I love him back because then I would start crying so I just nodded my head. He sighed before walking out. About three minutes later I heard the a sound going out letting me know a door was opened, which means he left.

I decided to put Nova in he bassinet that was in my room, in case I had to get up in the middle of the night. After eating living her down I went to check on my mother and sister they both where sleep. I grab a bottle of wine from from the kitchen. Then went upstairs back to my room and went in the bathroom running me s nice hot bath.  About 10 minutes later the tub was filled, I checked on Nova before getting in. I took off all my clothes getting in the tub. The hot water felt so good on my body. Getting comfortable I laid back in the tub and that's when the tears started.
