Bella and I had been texting occasionally. It seemed to brighten her moods, not that I could really tell from a phone screen. However, I had called her house one time when her phone seemed to be dead and her voice was lively. I had even spoken to her father, Charlie, briefly before he handed the phone off to Bella. He seemed like a sweet man, I would be able to tell better in person.

A week had passed since Bella's surprise visit and I was going to visit her in Forks tomorrow.  I was not sure what we were going to do, but Bella did mention that she wanted me to go with her somewhere. I'm excited to return to the quaint town, it had a certain charm to it.

It was now the beginning of March and although it was a weekend we would usually have extra rehearsals on there were none as we had auditions this morning for Giselle. William was planning on spending Saturday finalizing everyone's roles, meaning I was free for the day. I had auditioned for the part of Giselle herself; however, I doubt I would get the part considering I was, in the company's eyes, only a sophomore. The roles would be announced during rehearsals Monday night.

The air whipped through my hair as I ran to Forks. I called Bella letting her know I was on my way and would be there soon right before I left, she was anticipating my arrival now.

I slowed to a pace normal for humans as I approached the forest surrounding Bella's house. I walked across her yard, up to her front door, and rang the door bell. I heard soft footsteps coming down stairs and toward to door. I laughed quietly to myself; Bella had clear caution going down the staircase as though she were trying not to accidentally trip and stumble down. I wasn't surprised, knowing how clumsy she was, but I was still amused.

The doorknob rattled as it turned open revealing Bella's naturally flushed face. She grinned at the sight of me.

"Hey," she greeted.

"Hey, Bella. How are you doing?" I questioned, walking into her house as she opened the door, gesturing for me to enter.

"Pretty good, I went over to Jake's this morning."

I brightened visibly at the mention of the drama that was entertaining me. I wasn't much of a gossip, but I was intrigued to hear the new developments.

"Oh? Do tell."

Bella laughed lightly at my enthusiasm. "Nothing really happened, honestly. Jake wasn't home, but I talked to his dad who said that he was feeling better. He said that Jake was out with his friends."

"Bummer, I was hoping for something exciting. Oh well, it can't be helped," I replied.

She nodded. "Anything new with you?

"Not really, the usual. I had auditions for Giselle yesterday, though."

"Ooh, how did they go?"

"Pretty good I think. I'm hoping for the lead, but I can't be sure, considering I'm just a sophomore."

"Well, I think if you're as good as I've heard, you'll get it."

I smiled, "thanks...so where are we going today?"

"Um, I wanted to try going to the meadow that Edward and I used to go to," she said carefully.

I nodded. I chose my words carefully, not wanting to question her intentions. "Okay, well how do we get there."

"I know the general area, so I can drive to where the trail is, but if goes off course and I'm not sure from there."

"Okay, sounds good. I think with two of us we can figure it out. When do we leave?"
