Hello to all my lovely readers! Sorry I've been away so much! Being a uni student is tough and I'm not always able to upload much but I hope you enjoy the upcoming chapters. Sorry, this chapter is so short but there's a lot more coming!

I took her out once. It was quite awkward in the car but I couldn't help but admire the glow that I felt from her whenever I sat next to her. We went to meet a few of my friends and cousins at my place. I introduced her to them as my future wife-to-be and there was the usual small talk. After a while, there was a lot of laughing. Just old memories that she was able to get a share of. Her laughter got to me instantly. I had been in the kitchen getting some stuff.

I heard the cutest and sexiest laugh I've ever heard. I don't know what I was doing but I had rushed over to see who it was. She looked like a queen with a big and bright smile on her face. She was staring at a picture of me as a small boy in just my undies running away from the camera. My cousin just had to show that to her didn't he! It was so nice to see her getting used to the people I keep close in my life. I was jealous that I wasn't the one who had made her laugh and out that beautiful smile on her face.

This was a month before the wedding. I went to pick her up that day myself. She was running behind a few kids with the same smile and I couldn't help but smile myself. She looked angelic even with paints on her hands. She was watching the first grade class for another teacher during her break. It was the last day of her teaching. I had brought little treats for her class and the next period, we all had a goodbye party for her (more of a welcome home from me). She was leaving behind so much for me and I don't know how to appreciate that fact.  A week later would be our engagement.
