Hi! Happy New Year? Lol. Natagalan ako sa update dahil 1.) Nagstart na ang review namin for the boards and 2.)hindi ko alam paano itatawid ang chapter na 'to. Most of the lines I used here came from my own experiences so this is kinda personal to me. Thank you sa nagbabasa pa rin. See you the next few chapters! NAKIPAGKAMAY SI DEANNA SA LALAKING KAHARAP. "I'll go ahead. I'll just inform you right away if there's any update" Nakangiting sabi nito. Nasa early 60's na ang lalaki ngunit matikas pa rin ang tindig.

"Salamat po, Attorney" Sagot ni Deanna.

Nang makaalis na ang lalaki, muli s'yang napaupo at napatitig nalang sa half empty na kape. "You're doing the right thing, Dey"

Napalingon s'ya sa kaibigan na katabi n'ya ngayon. It's Angelica.  "First step palang 'to, marami ka pang kailangan gawin. Change the key code to your unit, open a new bank account. Buy a new goddamn phone" 

Dahan dahang napatango si Deanna at nagsalita, "Magagalit s'ya sa akin. Sigurado ako. Anong gagawin ko kapag... kapag..."

"Kapag ano? Tama lang yung pagfile mo ng restraining order. Yes, she's your mother pero pang-aabuso 'yung ginagawa n'ya. You know what I hate even more? 'Yung sobrang tolerant mo sa kanya. Since we're kids, wala na s'yang ginawa kung hindi kontrolin buong buhay mo. She has a full control of your finances and social media accounts. She decides whether or not you should accept a project. She even confiscates your phone kapag may ginawa kang hindi n'ya gusto. You're 26 for fuck's sake, you should be the one controlling your life!"

Hindi na n'ya nagawang kontrahin ang sinabi nito. "I get it, at the end of the day she's a family pero girl, let her learn her lessons. You are her daughter, not a toy, not a robot she owns. Family should be the one supporting our dreams, our happiness hindi 'yung sila pa mismo ang magiging hadlang. We have our own lives, own decisions to make. Yes, we should respect them, but isn't it fair if we demand the same?"

Angelica knows exactly what her friend needs to hear. Napairap naman ito nang makitang nanggigilid ang luha ni Deanna. Humugot s'ya ng tissue, "Enough crying na, ilang araw ka ng umiiyak" saka pinunasan ang gilid ng mata ng kaibigan.

"Ilang araw na nga ba?" mahinang tanong n'ya. Natigilan si Angelica, "You miss her?"

"Sobra" muli s'yang nagpunas ng luha. "Halos wala na 'yung issue sa breakup n'yo lalo na ngayon na hiatus si Virgo. Nakafocus ngayon ang media sa pagcome out ni Denice and her fandom even supported her. Everything is slowly falling in its right place. Konting tiis pa"
