Safe place

Dinner is set up quietly, tension building up in the air as glances are exchanged, the newly acquainted people still tense and awkward around each other, though Jimin is trying to do his best to lessen the tension as much as possible.

Seeing that Namjoon and Jimin are carried away in conversation, EunHae uses this opportunity to talk to the quiet and shy boy, who slightly jumps as the girl makes her way to him, doe eyes watching her every move.

"Thanks for your help Jungkook." EunHae says with a grateful smile. "And sorry about our initial reaction."

"It's okay." Jungkook says with a slight smile. "I'm glad to see he has people that care about him and are willing to protect him. Not all of us are so lucky."

As he says it, EunHae nods in agreement, letting out a small puff of air through her cheeks.

"You want to go see him don't you?" Jungkook asks, cracking a small grin as the girl softly nods her head.

"But I respect your decision." She says. "Especially if it's to keep you all safe."

Jungkook raises a brow in response as he slowly nods his head, pursing his lips to avoid the smile that is threatening to form.

"You know," he starts, "he actually told me he wants to see you as well."

"He did?" EunHae asks surprised, blinking in confusion at his statement.

"Yes. He even threatened not to stay put until you go see him." He adds shaking his head, the girl smiling fondly as she pictures the boy's pout.

"You can go see him now." Jungkook says in a low voice after a while, glancing out the window as the sun completely sinks in the horizon.

"Are you sure?"

"It should be safe to go now since it's dark and not many people are around." He says. "I'll tell you how to get there."

"Thanks..." EunHae says, a little confused by the boy. "I appreciate it."

Their conversation seems to get the other's friends attention, Namjoon exchanging a glance with the girl as she types something on her phone.

I'll be back in a bit. He reads. I'm going to see Taehyung for a bit.

Be careful. He replies. Call me if you need anything.

Will do.

"I'm going out for a bit." EunHae says, Jimin giving her a smile as he nods.

"Wait! Before you go." He says quickly putting something together. "Take this with you in case he's hungry." He adds handing her a bag.

"Thank you."

With that, EunHae inhales deeply before making her way to the door, quietly repeating Jungkook's instructions in her head as she heads out.

Okay. She thinks to herself looking around, her eyes scanning for the opening the boy told her to use while at the same time making sure that no one is following her. According to him. It should be somewhere around...here.
