An unsettling feelingEunHae wakes up with a start, eyes roaming around the room as she lets out a breath of relief.
It was just a dream.
But still, it wouldn't hurt to check right?
Quietly, the girl slips her feet into her shoes, slowly making her way towards the room where he is, smiling to herself when she finds the boy sound asleep.
Good. She thinks to herself, making her way to the kitchen in an attempt to distract herself from her thoughts.
Minutes later, another figure enters into the kitchen, mumbling a quiet 'good morning' as he makes his way to the couch.
"Jimin?" EunHae calls out, the boy humming in response. "Do we have any more scallions?"
"No, we ran out yesterday." Jimin answers, rubbing the back of his neck. "We also need to get some onions and potatoes."
"Alright." The girl says closing the fridge. "I'll make a list and go to the market."
"Sorry about that." He apologizes.
"Don't worry about it. It's the least I can do for a friend."
"Thanks EunHae."
"I'll be back later." She says grabbing her bag.
"Could you get some banana milk from the convenience store as well on your way?"
"Sure thing."
"Be careful." Jimin says, the girl nodding and waving in response.
The sun is barely rising in the horizon, the cool morning breeze gently blowing as the girl makes her way to the market, which is a good distance from Jimin's place.
By the time she reaches the place, the streets are buzzing with life, vendors inviting visitors to their stands. EunHae smiles to herself at the sight. There is nothing like the markets in Busan.
"Thank you." She says, politely bowing as the older lady hands her a bag with fresh vegetables. "Let's see, next should be..."
As she scans the list for the next item, something in the distance catches her eye. It was brief but it looked very familiar.
Continuing her walk, the girl stops in her tracks once more when she hears a static like noise. Following the sound with her eyes, her heart skips a beat when she notices some men looking around the market, discreetly scanning the perimeter while whispering something into an earpiece.
Taking a deep breath, the girl tightens her hold on the bags and continues her walk, trying to continue about as normally as possible.
Maybe I'm just being paranoid. EunHae tells herself.
However, in all her years of her working as a reporter, she knows one thing for sure.
You can't ignore this type of feeling.
The type of feeling that led her to Taehyung in the first place.
