A relaxing day at the beach

The beach is quite near to Jimin's place much to their surprise, the sand covered ground soon replacing the pavement.

By Jimin's suggestion, the group heads to the beach early in the morning the next day, the sun barely rising on the horizon, everyone simultaneously stopping in a line to admire the view.

Then, exchanging a smile, they make their way to their favorite spot.

Usually when they visit, the beach is packed, a spot to sit in hard to find due to the amount of people that come during the summer. But this time it's different. There's hardly any people around as the group settles down at the beach, the boys setting up their umbrellas while EunHae sets up the rest of their things.

Once settled, it's time to get to the fun part, each friend grabbing their belongings.

Taehyung looks up in surprise as the younger boy hands him a plastic toy, something he had never really seen before.

"It's a water gun." Jungkook explains. "We use it to play a game."

"Oh?" Taehyung questions raising a brow, curiously following the younger male as he walks towards the water, explaining how it works.

Without a warning, Jungkook squirts water over Taehyung's face, the boy blinking a few times before he breaks into a boxy grin and chases the younger boy out of the water.

And so the chase begins along the shoreline, both boys staying close to the water to refill their weapons with ease.

As they do, EunHae uses the quiet morning to pick up a few shells washed up on shore, breathing in the salty breeze as she stands in the sea.

Even though it hasn't been that long, by now the sun is fully out, slowly warming up the day.

In the distance, Taehyung notices Namjoon standing by the rocks, crouching down every once in a while as he looks for something.

But what is he looking for? Taehyung wonders, exchanging a brief glance with Jungkook before they head back to their spot.

The boys' chests heave up and down as they sit on the towels for a break, gratefully taking the water Jimin offers.

"You came just in time." Jimin says with a smile. "I'm just finishing up breakfast."

"Thank you hyung." Jungkook says taking a bowl full of food.

"Namjoon hyung!" Jimin calls out at the top of his lungs, the older boy looking up in surprise as he hears his name called. "Breakfast!" He adds pointing to the empty plate he is holding.

"Okay!" Namjoon shouts back, soon breaking into a run as he approaches.

"Thank you for the food." Everyone says, Jimin smiling in response.

"Enjoy." He says, the group falling silent as they watch the waves roll by.

"I forgot how much I like this place." Namjoon says, his face pensive as he eats.

"Me too." EunHae says. "It's been a while."

"It's not the same without you here." Jimin says. "I don't come to beach as much as I use to. If it wasn't for Jungkook, I probably wouldn't come at all."
