DEEP TROUBLE [KTH]

Exhausted after the interaction with their guest, the boy quickly falls asleep as soon as the ladder leaves.

"How does he do that?" Namjoon mutters to himself shaking his head, a small smile on his lips as he walks into the kitchen.

"No idea." EunHae says smiling fondly at the boy. "He must be really tired." She adds following him into the kitchen, her eyes roaming the contents in different cupboards.

"We're going to need groceries soon." EunHae points out as she opens the fridge.

"Don't worry, I'll watch him while you go to the store."

"Are you sure?" EunHae asks raising a brow, the boy nodding in response.

"Oh, and could you also get these things?" He asks handing her a list. "I figured he might need them since he's staying here us. It's not everything but it's a start."

"Thanks Namjoon." EunHae says with a smile. "I won't take long."

"Be careful." He says.

"I will." She says grabbing her keys. "Call me if anything happens."

EunHae softly hums to herself as she finishes checking off the grocery list, pulling out the list of items Namjoon gave her.

"That's all for the groceries," she mutters to herself, "now as for this..."

Grocery shopping took longer than she expected, the girl staring at her watch in disbelief as she looks at the time. Hopefully everything is okay at home.

Much to EunHae's surprise, the apartment is completely quiet as she walks in, the girl smiling to herself when she sees him sleeping.

"You're back?" Namjoon asks in a low voice as he walks out of the bathroom, half his face peaking out from behind the towel on his head.

"Yeah." EunHae says carefully tiptoeing towards him. "Here are the things that asked for." She adds handing him the plastic bag with the items.

"Thanks." Namjoon says opening the bag, nodding as he scans the contents. "Is he still sleeping?" He asks throwing the towel on the side.

"Yes, he's still sleeping."

Together, the friends walk towards the living room, both leaning against the wall as they poke their heads to take a look.

"It'll be really uncomfortable if he sleeps here." Namjoon points out looking down at EunHae, who nods her head as they move forward until they stand in front of the boy.

"V." Namjoon softly calls out, gently shaking the boy's shoulder so he doesn't startle him.

The boy slightly groans in response, his brows drawn together as he turns on his side.

"I don't think it's going to work." Namjoon says placing his hands on his hips as he thinks. "I guess we have no other choice."

With a sigh, Namjoon places his hands underneath the boy's legs and arms in an attempt to carry the boy, losing his footing as a strong force draws him forward.
