Slightly flinching, she lowers her gaze to the ground, shifting her weight from one foot to the other. "Well....I'm not entirely sure what happened, all I know is that I couldn't leave him there." She says grounding her feet, taking a deep breath and making eye contact with her friend.

"I can't believe you kidnapped someone!" He exclaims.

"I didn't kidnap him!" She protests, realizing how loud they are being and lowering her tone of voice. "I rescued him from the facility." She whispers making him frown.

"You know," he starts, "when you texted me SOS I thought you had gotten caught, I didn't think you had brought someone with you."

"Save it for later Namjoon." She says walking towards the boy and helping him up. "We need to get out of here."

Namjoon wants to protest but when he sees the state that the boy is in, he thinks otherwise. The boy basically looks like death itself, so with a nod Namjoon responds, "right" and opens the back door of the truck so that they can bring him in.

The boy tries his best to keep up with her, but his body hurts with every move that he makes, thus slowing them down. Fortunately, the boy that came with his savior seemed to catch on and hurried to help him into the vehicle.

She climbs in the back seat first, extending her arms to help the boy up while Namjoon gives him a boost from behind, and in no time, they are ready to go.

Namjoon buckles his seatbelt, and watches through the rear view mirror as she explains to the boy what she is about to so.

"I need to strap this across your chest to keep you safe okay?" She explains and the boy follows her gestures, slightly giving her a nod. She lets out a shaky breath and straps him in, making a makeshift pillow with his covering so that he is comfortable enough.

"You ready to go?" Namjoon asks and she nods, looking behind one more time to make sure they are not being followed.

"Hold on tight, cause it's going to be a bumpy ride." Namjoon says pressing onto the accelerator with full force.

                                                                  🌊🌊🌊

In spite of the bumpy ride, they were both surprised when they finally made it home, only to find the boy fast asleep, his head on her shoulder.

"Fish boy?" She asks softy, but he doesn't move a muscle.

Poor thing, he must be tired.

As if reading her mind, Namjoon smiles fondly at the boy and speaks up, "don't worry, I'll carry him inside."

"Thank you Namjoon." She says with a smile. "I'll go prepare a bath for him."

Glancing back at her friend, she can't feeling grateful that's she's not alone in this situation. She could really use some support to help the boy out, and besides, she probably would have ended up asking for his help later on.

Her thoughts are interrupted when Namjoon calls out, "how's the bath coming along?"

"Almost ready!" She shouts back, placing her hand on the water one last time to make sure that it's warm enough. Then, wiping her hand on her jeans, she closes the faucet and helps Namjoon with the boy.
