XXVIII. FEBRUARY 14.

"Ang Ex ko.." mahinang sagot ni Vice.

"Ahh.. Anong sabi? " tanong ni K. She was pretty curious and as a girl she was jealous.

"Gusto nya daw akong makausap.. "

"Ah baka nalulungkot lang. Kelan ba daw kayo mag uusap?"

"Sa bukas daw.. "

"Nako. Diba Valentines day bukas? Baka di kausap kailangan nyan.. Baka date.. "

"Yun nga din naisip ko. ."

"You have an event bukas diba?"

"Yun na nga. Nagtataka ako baka kasi importante yung sasabihin nya. Kurba ..ahmmm..  pwede bang ikaw munang bahala bukas.. Sandali lang naman ako.. Susunod ako agad sa event. At ito hah magdidinner tayo pagkatapos" Vice requested.

"Ahh.. Ganun. . Uunahin mo pa talaga yun kesa sa event mo tomorrow. Nako Vice hah. Sinasabi ko sayo hah.. Kung ako lang Ok lang sakin na ako munang masupervised ng event tomorrow pero yang ex mo----"

"I got this Kurba. Susunod ako bukas sa event. Saglit lang ako. Ok? Hintayin mo ko pagbalik ko diretso na agad tayong dinner."

"Hihintayin kita."

"Oo promise. I just need to settle this issue we had with my ex."

"Ok .. ano nga pala sasabihin mo kanina?"

"Ah bukas na lang. Matulog na tayo. Inaantok na ko.. " Hinila nya si K mula sa pagkakaupo sa sofa at dumiretso na sila ng kwarto.

Kinaumagahan maagang nagising si Vice upang makapag ayos. Kailangan nyang umuwi sa bahay nya sapagkat dapat nya munang ipaalam sa mga beki na si K muna ang bahala sa kanila mamaya at susunod na lang sya pagkatapos nilang mag usap ni Terrence.

Sa mall ang naging event nila. The event started 1pm. Halos ready na ang lahat ng nagpaalam na si Vice. K stands as the event organizer head / official photographer. Gusto nya sanang isama si Anne na kakauwi lang few weeks ago pero may date daw ito kasama si Vhong. The event went pretty successful as it ended 7pm.

"K.. Uwi na tayo.. Parang di na darating si Meme." yaya ni Buern.

"Sige Buern, Archie mauna na lang kayo hihintayin ko na lang dito si Vice. Saka magdidinner kami ngayon " sagot ni K na nakaupo sa stage ng event center.

"K baka mainip ka lang kakahintay. Kanina pa natin tinetxt ngunit di naman nagrereply.. Sumabay ka na lang samin.. " pagpupumilit ni Archie.

"Ok lang ako guys. Akong bahala at salamat sa concern.  Mauna na kayo. Alam ko gutom na kayo. "She said and stood up to kiss them.

"Ikaw nga din gutom na eh .. Haaay.. Ok basta pag di pa rin nakarating dito si Meme bago magsara ang mall, tawagan mo kami hah.. "   nagaalalang paalala ni Buern.

"Oo Buern. Ingat kayo hah.. " pagpapaalam ni K sa dalawa.

Nagdaan ang alas nwebe ng gabi at pasara na ang mall ay di pa rin nakakabalik si Vice. Pilit na kumakapit si K sa pangako nyang babalik sya agad at magdidinner sila ngayong Valentines Day. Kaya naman kahit gutom na sya at inip na inip na ay ayaw nyang umalis.

"Ahmmm.. Miss.. Excuse me.. Magsasara na po kami.. " the guard caught K's attention.

"Ganun ba kuya.. Sige po lalabas na po ako.. "

She went straight to her car and grabbed her phone.

"Sis? Asan ka?"

"Here sa QC nagdidinner kami ni Vhong. Bakit Sis?"

"Samahan naman ako pls ?"

"Ok ka lang ba? Where are you.. Sige pls txt me your location at susunod ako.. "

"Thank you Sis. " malungkot na sagot ni K.

K went to a bar in QC. She texted Anne for her location and after few minutes Anne arrived. They walked inside and bumped to some people's shoulder as they made they're through the gasps of crowd.

K grabbed a drink and drank it straight up. Her face contorted to the bitterness of the drink. She stucked her tounge out and soon felt the flavor.

It tasted fine but it was way too strong for me. But who cares?  I wanted to get drunk without knowing the reason why.

Anne noticed it she was pretty sure that K has a problem.

"Dahan dahan lang K.. The night is young. May problema ba.. ?"

"Wala naman Sis. Ang hirap pala pag Valentine's Day na Single ka noh. hahaha" mapait na tawa ni K. Inakbayan sya ni Anne to comfort her.

"You dont have to tell me now.. Basta tandaan mo nandito ako para sayo hah.. " Anne gave her a reassuring smile.

"Nasaan nga pala si Vice?" Anne shouted while sipping her drink.

"That I don't know. I cant even reach his phone. Busy ata. Dapat magparty tayo. Damayan mo ko Sis!!!" She answered and drank another glass of drink.

They pushed the people around and some cursed. K ignored them and all she ever wanted was to forget what Vice had failed to meet as what he had promised.

Paasa.

Ito ang tumatakbo sa isip nya paulit ulit. Gusto nyang sumabog sa galit ngunit ayaw nyang ipahalata kay Anne iyon.

She never had a party for a very long time now.

Her eyes widen and her mouth went open to laugh. Her head slightly pushed back , her laugh was roaring through the beat of the music.

Pabalik balik sya sa table para uminom at hinahayaan naman sya ni Anne coz she saw that K was enjoying so much. K blurted out within words after words with hiccups. She was drunk alright. Her face was red and her breath reeked of alcohol.

"Sis.. mukhang lasing ka na .. wag ka nang uminom pa hah.. " Anne shouted cupping her hands around her mouth. Masyadong maingay sa dance floor kaya di sila masyadong magkadinigan.

"Sis !! Have Fun! Drink! Table! Right ov'there!" K jerks her index finger pointing to their table.

Anne's phone rang and she excuse herself to go back at the table. While K was left at the dance floor. Bigla syang naiihi kaya nagpasya syang pumunta ng banyo. K narrowed her eyes trying her best to focus her vision straight to the comfort room.

She squinted her eyes and tried to make up the sight of the two person hugging near the CR.

Tall guy, straight hair , katamtaman ang pangangatawan and the way he dresses..

I was not sure but my heart was pounding so crazy.

Hinawakan ko ang balikat nya at pinaikot ito paharap sakin. 

My eyes widen as I felt my heart stopped. My head hurt and I stumbled back.

Di ako nagkakamali..

I pushed him as I stepped back and run as fast as I could, makaalis lang sa di kanais nais na sitwasyon.

I know I'm drunk but I could never be wrong..

Who I saw hugging another guy is no other than Vice.
