Kate's P.O.V

We were back to the big apple! The moment our flight landed, Ethan dropped me home and rushed to his company. That's okay because I also went to my dance studio. Austin and I needed to choreograph our dance and practice it to the fullest. We have to win the competition anyhow!

After 4 hours we managed to choreograph half our dance. But after that we were so tired that I directly went home. I had to make our dinner too.

I made roasted chicken with some schezwan rice. I was waiting for Ethan to come home so that we could eat together.

As my clue, the doorbell rang. I ran towards the door. I opened the door to find a very tired looking Ethan. Poor guy! He works so much.

I gave a big smile to him to cheer him up, and seeing my smile a smirk broke on to his face.

"Somebody was missing me?" He said looking directly into my eyes.

"I wasn't missing you, I was hungry. I was waiting for you so that we will have dinner together." I gave back.

"I didn't say YOU were missing me. But anyways I'm also very hungry. So lets dug in our food." Saying he walked past me.

While we were eating, Ethan was completely zoned out. He didn't talk a word. He even wasn't eating properly. He was just playing with his cutlery. So I decided to ask.

"Ethan?"

"Hmm?" He looked up from his plate.

"What's wrong?" I ask softly as I place my hand on his.

"Nothing."

"Ethan come on we have talked about this. Don't say nothing because I know something's bothering you."

He sighed. "Today I met Madison. She is best friend of Natalie, my ex fiance."

Colour of my face suddenly vanished.

"Oh. What d-did she say?" This is getting so awkward.

"Apparently Natalie has divorced the man she left me for. As he used to abuse her physically. Well as far I know her, she isn't a girl who would let a man abuse her. But again I don't know her truly. Madison said Natalie wants to meet me."

My voice cracks a little, "So are you going to?" I hope he says no.

Ethan looked at me I guess noticing my cracked voice. He held my hands in his.

"The day I married you, Natalie's chapter was closed in my life. So no, I won't meet her."

I don't know what came into me when I heard him say that, I buried my face in his chest and let my tears fall on my face. Ethan wrapped his around me in a firm hug. He caressed my hair.

"Hey. Why are you crying?" He rubbed my cheek to wipe the tears off.

"I thought now you will meet her and leave me."

"Since when did your brain stop working?
Why will I go to her when I am married to such an amazing and beautiful girl?" He whispers in my ear.

I have a look at him to see he is already gazing at me. "Really?"

"Yes you silly girl!" He hugged me more tightly. I was feeling content.

"You know what I did today." I said very excited.

"That's the Kate I know. Always cheerful and smiling. Not the one with crying face."

I giggled, "Anyways in the rehearsal today I lifted Austin! Can you believe that?"

"Hell no. How can you lift him?" I was astonished.

"I know right. Even I was shocked when I did that. Actually we were thinking of doing couple of steps differently not the cliche pattern of guy lifting the girl. So I thought of this and it got executed so well." I was really happy with how our practice was going on.

"You really love dance, don't you?" Ethan asked smiling.

"Dance is my life. I can't go a day without dancing. Just like business work is yours."

"Tsk tsk. You don't know your husband well sweetheart." I gave her a teasing smile.

"What? You don't love your work? I thought you do. You are such a workaholic guy." I said as a matter of fact.

"I do love my work. But that's work. You don't know what I love to do apart from work. That one thing!"

"What is it? Please tell me! I want to know."

"Nope. Not right now." He gave me a tight lipped smile.

"Pretty please." I pouted.

"Don't pout."

"Why not?" Now I was teasing him.

"Because then I want to kiss the hell out of you." He said in a very serious tone.

"Who is stopping you then?" I whispered.

"Oh really?"

His eyes flashed and he pulled me closer to him. I was almost sitting on his lap. I put my hands around his neck. Without any further delay, he placed his lips on mine. Again I went to some magical island. The kiss was so sensual. We kissed with full force. Both of us fighting for dominance. Alas, I gave up.
When both of us lacked air, we broke apart.

"We should sleep now." I say heavily panting.

"Yes. Good night Kate." He smiled

Uff that smile!

Next morning I wake up with a severe abdomen pain. I rush to bathroom to get the worst surprise every girl gets each month.

Period!!! Ugh!!!!!
