CHARLIE WAS LAID BACK ON THE COUCH THAT WAS IN SKYLAR'S personal piano room. he was watching her play the familiar keys she's been playing for the past week. she invited him into the room to show him the new song she was working on
"maybe it's the way you say my name maybe it's the way you play your game but it's all good, i've never known anybody like you but it's all good, i've never dreamed of nobody like you"
"and i've heard of a love that comes once in a lifetime and i'm pretty sure that you are that love of mine 'cause i'm in a field of dandelions wishin' on every one that you'd be mine, mine and i see forever in your eyes i feel okay when i see you smile, smile"
"wishin' on dandelions all of the time prayin' to god that one day you'll be mine wishin' on dandelions all of the time, all of the time"

she nervously looked over to charlie who had a smile on his face "that was beautiful" he said enthusiastically
"it's for you" she said nervously as his eyebrows furrowed "i wrote this song... for you"
his eyebrows perked up, as his smile grew on his lips "babe" he said in aww "are you serious?" he asked as he walked over to her. she nods "i never had anyone write a song for me" he says before gripping her cheeks and connecting their lips

SKYLAR HAD JUST UNLOCKED HER PARENT'S HOME WITH HER SPEAR KEY. charlie followed her into her old home "mom?" she called out before walking into the kitchen, as charlie made his way to the twins nursery "dad?" she said impulsively before she realized what came out of her mouth
her eyebrows perk up when she noticed jensen standing right in the kitchen with a very surprised face yet a small smile making it's way to his lips "h-hey" he said nervously as he greeted her in a hug
"i-
"don't worry about it kiddo" he cuts her off knowing she's never called him that before
she had her head on his chest, hands wrapped around his waist. she shook her head slightly "i...i know i-i've never called you dad before, but i-i mean it. you're married to my mom, you're the father of the twins, you're my stepdad. the second father figure in my life" she said honestly "you've taken care of me since the moment you met me, just like a father would. so, yeah, you're my dad" she said tears sparking in her eyes, a smile tugging on her lips
the same smile tugged on jensen's lips. truth be told, from the moment genevieve introduced jensen to the two girls, he made a promise to gen that he'd care for the girls like if they were his own. and he's always lived up to that promise. he nodded slowly as he pulled away "no chick flick moments" he said as he blinked away the tears
skylar grinned softly "yeah, you love chick flicks" she said with a small smile
jensen locked eyes with hers "yeah, you're right i do, come here" he said before he wraps his arms around her shoulders, one hand on her head, as she lays her head on his shoulder. before pulling away he kisses the top of her head "i love you birdie"
she smiled at the familiar nickname "i love you too dad"
"come on, your mom is upstairs getting ready. and the twins are in their nursery" he said as he lead the way upstairs
the two were just outside the twins nursery when they come to vision with charlie who was in the rocking chair, feeding little one month old zeppelin with his baby bottle. jensen's eyebrows perked up "he's really good with kids, you know?" he grinned as he nudged skylar
