SKYLAR WAS WALKING TO HER apartment door getting ready to leave for set, but a knock came from her door making her stop in her tracks. she furrowed her brows, thinking why was charlie knocking at her door seeing as they were going to meet on set
"babe i thought we were meeting—" she cuts herself off when she comes face to face with someone who isn't charlie
"babe?" the voice questions "i never thought i would be called babe by my niece"
"u-uncle jackson" skylar says in disbelief
"i am so meeting this new babe" jackson pointed to her "your dad would kill me if i let another guy break his little girl's heart... again"
before skylar could respond, jackson cut her off "so from your instagram booboo is your roommate, i still need to have a talk with h—
"no!" skylar argues as she pushes him out of her apartment as she also walks out, closing her door "w-wait how did you know i was here?" she questioned
"well due to being book for so many surgeries on saturday and sunday, i couldn't book a flight to come visit you and your sister. but luckily i was able to get a flight on monday, i got here the same day and i went to visit your dad, before going to your house, but gen told me you went back to vancouver because you were an acting coach for a project. she told me where to find you" jackson explained as he hanged his around her shoulder
"of course she did" skylar playfully rolled her eyes "anyways how's harriet?" she smiled at the thought of her little cousin
"s-she's good, growing every second, beautiful as ever. definitely got my good looks"
skylar suggested that jackson come with her on set, he agreed. the two were on their way, jackson driving
jackson threw his head back in laughter at the memory of mark telling him to get in the car. "i was so confused"
"there was this one time when your dad wanted to go grab a few drinks with the guys, but your mom also wanted to go have a girls night at meredith's house. so your dad had genevieve come all the way down to hospital, knowing she was off that day"

"because it's fair, because the two of us are parents to daniella and sky and this is the fair way to decide who stays in with them, unless you'd rather raise them with no sense of fairness or decency and anarchy and chaos, your call babe" mark points to his wife
