AFTER INTERMISSION THE LIGHT WENT OUT, THE CROWD SCREAMED IN excitement. skylar grinned softly before walking out "before we sing this next song, i have another special guest joining us" she announced as the crowd cheered "please welcome charlie gillespie" she announces with a huge smile on her face
charlie came out with his guitar and took a seat on the barstool right in front of skylar's, he brought his microscope stand a little closer to him before connecting his eyes with skylar. the two grinned at each other as the melody of the song began to play "this one is called all i've ever needed, sing along if you know the lyrics" skylar announced with a soft smile as she started getting flashbacks of the day she wrote the song with charlie
"my bed sheets feel empty when you're not home" the two began to softly sing the first verse "your heartbeat helps me sleep your breath soothes my soul"

"tell me it's not my fault" she sang softly as a smile tugged on charlie's lips. the two were so focused on each other during the whole performance that they didn't even realize that the crowd had turned on their flashlights and softly swayed their phones

"we actually wrote this song. and it's what brought us together" she said
"every lyric describes how we felt for each other. from voice like an angel to you are my brightest burning star" charlie said into his mic "funny thing is, skylar never believed me when i'd tell her that she was a star, and people just didn't know it" he chuckled softly before connecting his eyes with skylar's "everyone knows it now"
