CHARLIE STIRRED IN HIS SLEEP AND woke up, just as skylar put her phone down onto the hotel's beside table. his eyes fluttered open, skylar turned onto her side to look at her boyfriend, taking in every feature of his. charlie sent her a soft smile "happy thanksgiving, shawty" he said in his morning raspy voice
skylar smiled and placed her hand on his cheek, softly stroking it, before leaning up to peck his lips "happy thanksgiving, baby"
"there is only one thing i'm thankful for this year" he said
skylar pondered on the thought, before answering "your role in julie and the phantoms?" she questions
"no— well, i am thankful for that too, but what i'm most thankful for is...you" he grinned at her. skylar returned the smile, feeling butterflies everywhere, she straddles his waist. charlie sat up, his hands running up and down her thighs "i love you sky"
it was like the world had stopped for skylar, her heart stopped beating

she cut him off by placing her lips on his, one of charlie's hands goes up to her hair, pulling her closer. as the two pulled away, out of breath, skylar looking into his eyes before smiling "i love you too"
charlie smiled and pressed one last kiss to her lips. he was about to pull away, but skylar placed her hands on his cheeks, she glanced back at the clock "we have two hours before we have to meet my family" she grinned at him
"what do you want to do?" he teased
"i think i have a few ideas" she grinned before placing her lips on his
"you sure?" he asked as he pulled away
"very"
