as soon as she was ready, she bursted into booboo's room, booboo on the other hand was startled, he threw his shirt at skylar's face as a reflex
"warm welcome" skylar mumbles as his shirt falls in her hands
"skylar, what the hell!" booboo sighs "i-i could've been naked!" he exclaims
skylar shrugs "nothing i haven't seen before"
"i—... out!" booboo points at his door
she sighs as she walks past him and takes a seat on his bed "charlie and i kissed"
booboo's eyes widen "you what!" he exclaims in shock
she throws him back his shirt "we kissed" she mumbles as she lays in his bed
"about time" he said as he puts his shirt on "so you two dating now?" he questioned with a smirk
she slowly shook her head "no, we just kissed"
he furrowed his brows "really?"
she nods as she sighs "i-i think i messed up" she said
"why? don't you like him?" he questioned
"truth is, my dad's words kept echoing in my head. s-so were yours. i-...it was just a heat of the moment" she whispered
booboo lowered his head as he looked to the floor "don't do that skylar" she looked up to him "not to him. charlie really likes you. don't push him away" he said as he thought back to the days she would push him away
she sat up from his bed "you know, i never meant to push you away. i'm sorry" she mumbles as she looks to her hands
booboo walked in front of her, he gripped her hands in his as he kneeled in front of her "hey, i've never held that against you, nor do i plan to. i should've been there for you. when we broke up, i should've checked up on you. i'm the one who should be sorry"
"i didn't deserve you" she whispers as she blinks away her tears
"actually, i was the one who didn't deserve you. despite everything, i wouldn't trade what we had for anything in this world" he softly smiled

thirteen minutes later, the two were on set. skylar was walking towards the soundstage
"sky" a voice calls out from behind her
she quickly turned around and saw a familiar face. her heart immediately tugged as a small smile creeped on her face. "hey"
"how you doin' shawty?" charlie held a sly smirk along with a starbucks bag and two drinks
"pretty tired, but what's new?" she questioned with a smile "how are you doing?"
he handed her, her go to drink, mango dragonfruit refresher. she thanked him. "i'm better, now that you're here" he grinned
she found it cheesy but nonetheless smiled. "come on let's go rehearse" she said as she took a sip from her drink
as the two entered, they were met with madison, mr. reyes, and a few other people who helped coordinate the perfect harmony dance
"you should've told me you were going to starbucks, i have been craving it so much" madison said as soon as she seen skylar holding the refresher charlie got her
"actually charlie bought it for me" skylar said pointing towards charlie
madison looked over to charlie with a smirk. "oh really? why didn't you buy me one charlie?"
charlie ignored her question. "we should really start our rehearsals" he said as he walked away from the two
"let me find out you two are dating" madison slowly grinned as she glanced back at skylar
charlie on the other hand went over to mr. reyes "good morning mr. reyes" he said cheerfully as the two shook hands
"good morning charlie" mr. reyes greeted
the two were talking for a while before charlie spoke. "hey, mr. reyes i-i just wanted to talk to you about madison and i. i just want you to know that there is nothing going on between us, everything that we're doing is for the show" charlie explained
mr. reyes glanced over to him before looking ahead at his daughter and skylar. "oh i know" he chuckles softly "i see the way you look at a special someone" he said as he kept his gaze on skylar
charlie furrowed his brows as he followed mr. reyes gaze. charlie's eyes connected with skylar's eyes. as she noticed his, she couldn't help but smile towards him before returning to her conversation with madison
"oh to be young and in love" mr. reyes softly mutters with a small grin
