IT WAS ABOUT AN HOUR LATER thatskylar found herself in charlie and owen's shared apartment once again
"so, i have a few lyrics that i've come up with" charlie says as he had his guitar in his hand as skylar was sat in front of him on his bed
"shoot" skylar smiles in excitement
charlie starts playing a gentle tone "bittersweet love story about a girl shook me to the core voice like an angel, i've never heard before here in front of me shining so much brighter than i have ever seen"
skylar found herself smiling softly at 'voice like an angel'
"we don't have to use it i-if it's too much—
"charlie" she chuckles softly "it's okay, i love it" she smiles sweetly
"really?" he asks
"yes" she smiles as the two stare at each other with a smile attached to their faces. it wasn't a weird stare, but more of a comfort stare. skylar's the first to break the stare as she chuckles softly
"so i have an idea" charlie says as he smirks at the girl "what's your favorite love song?" he asks her
she gave him a confused look but still answered "now that i found you by paul mcdonald and nikki reed"
"alright" he says as he places his guitar on the bed and stands up to grab his macbook as he begins to pull up youtube
"what are you doing?" she asks
"we're gonna sing together" charlie responds as he walks back to his bed
"how does this helps us?" she asks
"just trust me" he says with a hopeful smile as he pulls up the lyrics on his phone before playing the karaoke version on his laptop

"i can't help what time is done and how long i had to wait now i found your hand in mine i hope i didn't come too late there's no beauty like your face in the morning light" charlie sung as he looked up to skylar with a nod, signaling for her to sing along with him

charlie took notice of her ocean eyes, the way her nose scrunched up in a cute way whenever she was excited, her beautiful smile. "our voices rise and soar so high" he says
skylar continued the thought of some lyrics "we come to life when we're in—
