FOR VALENTINES DAY CHARLIE planned out a perfect day for the two. they were out in the ocean softly floating in the boat. skylar was up in front of the boat, hands on the railing. what she enjoyed most was the calm, the quiet, and the sounds of the waves
skylar feels charlie wrap his arms around her waist and settle on her hip. she grins, looking up at him for a moment before looking back at the endless ocean. he pressed a small kiss on her neck "what are you thinking about sunshine?" he asked softly
sunshine the same nickname he's been using since the very beginning moment they met. despite them dating for only three months, they've know each other for six. although it may seem like little time, the two bonded like no other. kenny always teases the two on being soulmates
a small smile tugged on her lips "just how lucky i am to have you"
a small chuckle leaving his lips "lucky" he whispers "i'm the lucky one" he smiled before kissing her neck "c'mere i bought something for us" he gripped her hand and tugged her onto the other side of the boat
her eyes soften and a smile made its way to her face. red rose petals making a trail to a beautiful flowery blanket that laid on the ground, two canvases on each side along with paint pallets, brushes, clear cups of water. a bouquet of sunflower in the middle of the blanket along with a rose teddy bear
"is this why you asked me to wait upfront?" she asked with a small chuckle
"maybe" he grinned
she turned around, wrapping her hands around his neck "it's absolutely beautiful, thank you baby" she grinned before standing on her tippy toes and connected their lips "i love it" she smiled as she brushed his hair softly with her hand "and i love you"
charlie grinned "i love you too" he gripped her hip "now come on let's get to painting" he said excitedly
as the two concentrated on their paintings, until charlie spoke up "so jer and care's wedding is in a few weeks"
skylar lifted her paint brush from her sunset painting to look up at charlie "i know! i'm so happy for them" skylar said with a huge smile tugging at her lips
"yeah, yeah same here" charlie nods in agreement "i- i was wondering if you wanted to be my date for the wedding?" he asked
skylar looked into his little puppy eyes look, she narrowed her eyes before chuckling "and here i thought i was already going to be your date"
