PERFECT HARMONY WAS COMPLETE. today charlie and skylar were going to perform the song for kenny and they were nervous to say the least
"we've heard it before and i'm 100% sure he's gonna love it" madison encouraged the two
"maddie's right. the song is really really good" booboo added
"charlie? skylar?" kenny announced as he came out of the sound stage "you wanted to see me?" he questioned
"y-yeah, sky and i want to perform something for you" charlie started as kenny nodded and motioned for them to follow him
"ready?" charlie questioned to skylar who nodded back. the two were stood in front of each other, charlie's guitar in his hand, skylar had a microphone in her hand
"step into my world bittersweet love story about a girl shook me to the core voice like an angel, i've never heard before" he began as he nodded at skylar
"here in front of me shining so much brighter than i have ever seen life can be so mean but when he goes, i know he doesn't leave" skylar sung

"i feel your rhythm in my heart, yeah you are my brightest burning start, woah-woah" charlie stepped closer to skylar "i never knew a love so real so real" their eyes connected in admiration
"we're heaven on earth, melody and words when we are together we're in perfect harmony"
"woah, woah perfect harmony woah, woah"
skylar leaned her microphone towards charlie "we say we're friends we play pretend" charlie sang before skylar continued
"you're more to me we create a perfect harmony" the two smiled as they finished
"woah" kenny said in admiration "was that a shawn and camila song?" kenny questioned
skylar furrowed her brows and charlie tilted his head "n-no kenny, charlie and i wrote it for the show"
kenny was shocked "oh my gosh! are you serious!" kenny said in excitement
"yeah, do you like it?" charlie questioned
"d-do i like it? i absolutely love it! oh my goodness, we have to record that and immediately send it to netflix and see if they approve it" kenny exclaims with a huge smile on his face
"i was thinking if they do decided to use it, julie and luke can do this cute little dance sequence. like in high school musical and dirty dancing" skylar suggested
"oh my gosh! yes, kinda like can i have this dance" charlie added
"the rooftop scene" kenny chuckles
"yes! i literally use to practice it with my sister"

skylar, charlie, madison, jeremy, owen, kenny, and the rest of the camera crew were in the soundstage room that held the set of luke's house
a green screen was set behind madison, jeremy, and owen who were hiding behind the three bushes. the camera crew was recording the three as they recited their lines
charlie and luke's 'parents' were in the set house, the cameras weren't on them, but they still had to act out their scenes so the other three could have the visualized scene in front of them
"so, emily's his mom?" madison recites her line
jeremy nodded his head. "yeah, luke comes here a lot" owen recites his line
"he thinks we don't know, but...we've been following him. all he does is just hand out like this and watch them" jeremy said in sadness
skylar's heart tugged in sadness at the view of charlie in tears. she knew he was just acting, but it still hurt her
"they never really do anything though" jeremy finished
"they're having cake" madison said in a hopeful tone "that's something"
"it's a...it's a birthday cake. for luke" jeremy replied to madison as he glanced up at her slightly
"i never knew luke was hurting this much" madison recites
"yeah. it's even worse because when he died, he...left on bad terms. you know, his parents didn't want their 17 year old in a rock band, so...he just left" owen said his lines "he never got the chance to make up with them"
skylar continued to watch the scene play out, tears in her eyes as she not only watched charlie act out as a hurting luke, but she took in the words that the three actors were reciting. worst of all kenny had the instrumental version of unsaid emily in the background
"and cut!" kenny announced
skylar got out of her chair, wiping her tears in the process. she walked inside 'luke's house'. charlie grinned as he seen her come in
"mom, dad, i'd like you to meet skylar, my ghost girlfriend" charlie jokes as he walks over to skylar and drapes his hand around her shoulder
jennifer and michael, who play luke's parents chuckled at the two
"shush" skylar nudged him
charlie grinned as he looked down to her, he furrowed his brows "were you crying?" he questioned
