SKYLAR WAS STANDING ON madison's tape mark. right in between jeremy and charlie, owen sitting behind the three by his drums. madison was currently in her school hours along with jadah
"okay, skylar you know what to do" kenny points to her. whenever skylar takes over for madison, kenny usually tells her to perform the song as she bests sees fit and to keep in mind julie's character and julie's feelings

"hello everyone thanks for coming. hey, um this is the molina house. we're making a youtube video for my daughter. so please welcome my daughter, julie and the phantoms" the two step ins announced as the point over to the side where skylar comes in as she goes down the steps and walks towards the piano
"play back" kenny announces as the soundtrack for the song starts to play on the background
"running from the past tripping on the now what is lost can be found, it's obvious and like a rubber ball we come bouncing back we all got a second act, inside of us" skylar sings into the microphone as she plays on the piano as well. the two a.d's opened the garage door revealing the three boys
as the echos of owen's drums come on, skylar quickly jumps up and walks towards where jeremy and charlie's tape measures
"i believe i believe that we're just one dream away from who we're meant to be that we're standing on the edge of" skylar sung as jeremy and charlie played their electric guitars. charlie casually throwing glances at skylar
"something big, something crazy our best days are yet unknown that this moment is ours to own" skylar sang as she and jeremy faced each other as the two vibed before jeremy turned to owen

charlie glanced at skylar with a quick wink before stepping closer to his microphone "we all make mistakes but they're just stepping stones to take us where we wanna go it's never straight, no" as charlie sang, skylar watched him with pure admiration yet with hesitation. he glanced over throwing her a quick head nod for her to come over, her heart tugged, she was brought back to their kiss, she couldn't help but push her feelings aside as the two worked so instead she turned back to jeremy
"sometimes we gotta lean" both skylar and charlie sung but charlie held a pout and furrowed his brows at skylar's reaction

charlie on the other hand, questioned jeremy with a look. all jeremy did was smirk as he glanced at skylar "that we're standing on the edge of something big, something crazy our best days are yet unknown that this moment is ours to own 'cause we're standing on the edge of great on the edge of great, great on the edge of great, great on the edge of great, 'cause we're standing on the edge of great"
skylar walked to the chair of the piano, climbing it to take a seat on it "shout shout c'mon and let it out, out don't gotta hide it let your colors blind their eyes be who you are no compromise just shout, shout c'mon and let it out, out" charlie on the other hand was watching her every move. he felt himself smile at just how amazing her voice was. despite the soundtrack of the song being played in the back, he could clearly hear her voice
charlie made eye contact to kenny as he pointed towards him "what doesn't kill you makes you feel alive, alive ooh-oh"
charlie walked towards where skylar was kneeled on the piano. she was a bit taken back at his guitar solo decision, but nonetheless smiled as their eyes locked in "i believe i believe that we're just one dream away from who we're meant to be" she slowly moved her head closer to his, their faces inches apart, she seen as his eyes flickered down to her lip before going right back to her eyes
"that we're standing on the edge of great" skylar quickly parted their faces as she stood up on the piano and sung her little heart out as charlie walked back to his microphone stand
"something big, something crazy our best days are yet unknown that this moment is ours to own 'cause we're standing on the edge of great on the edge of great, on the edge of great" skylar made her way back to the piano seat, she placed her microphone on the stand and began to play the melody of the piano

charlie was right behind skylar, he leaned his face towards her as they sung the last few lyrics "running from the past tripping on the now what is lost can be found, it's obvious" their eyes connected, both their hearts beating at how close their faces were. charlie winked at her before he walked away
as skylar finished she let out a breath she didn't know she was holding
"good job guys! skylar that was amazing! but i really wanna know, why did you not go to charlie when he motioned you over with a head nod?" kenny questioned
oh? because we kissed and just being near him makes me act up. she thought in her head
"i- i- uh... w-well, because i figured, since by this point in the episode, julie already had her little dream of her and luke dancing to perfect harmony, which only confirms her feelings for him. so she feels this sense of nervousness when she's around him" she covered up as she avoids charlie's gaze
"i love that!" kenny exclaims with a grin "and charlie i loved the guitar solo, please do that when we continue to film. okay skylar time to do it once when madison returns"
as skylar waited for madison to return, she was about to walk off the sound stage that held julie's house. she was stopped by a pair of hands that wrapped themselves around her waist, her back gently hitting the wall as a body is stood in front of him
"she feels this sense of nervousness when she's around him?" he questions with a teasing grin as his hands are still placed on her waist
she couldn't help but let out a small chuckle as a smile stays on her face "y-yeah, i-i think julie feels nervous around lu—
"you sure?" he questions "you sure it isn't you feeling nervous around m—
she immediately shakes her head "no...nope" she says with full confidence
he removes one of his hands as slowly lift her chin, so their eyes connect "you aren't nervous?" he questions as he slowly leans his face closer to her's
"c-charlie p-personal space" she slowly stutters
"who cares about personal space" he says as he closes the gap between their lips
