Running into the Great Hall, Adelaide was trying to tie her tie but failing miserably. Kat hadn't woken her up this morning and she was running late. She spotted her friends sitting at the Gryffindor table and made her way over, lightly flicking Kat on the head as she took her seat between Mindy and Ron.
Kat rubbed the back of her head and interrupted her conversation with the twins, "What the bloody hell was that for?"
"Not waking me this morning." Addy turned to Mindy, who was busy conversing with 'Mione, and asked, "Mindy, can you tie this for me?"
The Gryffindor was too engrossed in her conversation with Hermione that she didn't even hear her friend's request for help. Adelaide sighed and rolled her eyes turning to Ron on the other side of her, "Ron, can you tie this for me?" She gestured to her yellow and black tie hanging loosely around her neck.
Ron looked at her, confusion written all over his face, "Why can't you do it?" She laughed while buttering a piece of toast, "Clearly I tried, the bloody thing has it out for me today." She turned to him and pouted, "Please, Ronald."
His face flushed and he nodded bringing his large hands to her tie. The colors were unfamiliar to Ron, so that is what he tried to focus on. Not the shaking of his hands or the way he could feel her talking, as his hands were right near her throat.
The twins had watched the interaction. Ron was blushing profusely and kept glancing at Addy every few moments while she chatted with her brother and friends, not paying any mind to their brother. Smirking they nudged each other and had an idea in their head.
"I think I might stop by Hagrid's later to see if Professor Grubbly-Plank will need any help with the creatures while Hagrid is on leave." Addy commented to no one in particular.
"Why would you want to do that?" Mindy pulled a face at her best friend.
"I feel bad. Plus, I used to help Hagrid out sometimes. I don't want any of the creatures to miss me, they're probably already missing him."
"Oh god you're such a bloody Hufflepuff." Mindy spoke exasperatedly.
Ron smirked at this, still fighting with her tie, "You have got to stop moving Addy."
She turned her head to look up at him and smiled sheepishly, "Sorry." He shook his head suppressing a smile.
Professor Sprout made her way over to the group of teens, "Ms. Greenwood, Ms. Bowemen, I should've known you were to be over here." She smiled, handing the girls their timetables.
