Adelaide walked into the Great Hall Saturday morning with Kat and Luna by her side. Luna had a large lion hat on her head, which caused everyone to look at them as they passed. Kat had borrowed one of Mindy's old Gryffindor tops with a large maroon jacket over it. She was trying to show her support, but stay warm on the chilly November morning. Addy wore Bash's old Quiddich jumper and a mustard yellow hat on top of her head.
As the group headed towards their friends, Addy noticed the group of Slytherins snickering to themselves. She wouldn't have thought anything of it if she hadn't seen them passing around pins and constantly looking toward her friends.
"Everything alright?" Kat asked when she noticed Addy had slowed down.
Addy looked away from the Slytherins and pressed her lips together firmly, "I'm not sure."
Kat turned and looked to where Addy had been, "They aren't going to play fair."
Addy kept quiet and followed behind Kat and Luna. Once they approached the table, Kat sat across the table with Luna, next to Ginny and Hermione. Addy sat between Ron and Mindy, taking a piece of toast from her plate before making her own.
"Hello," Luna spoke airily, "Do you like my hat?"
Ginny smiled, "Very nice, Luna."
"Yeah, go ahead. Help yourself, it wasn't like I was about to eat that or anything." Mindy said sarcastically as she picked up a new piece of toast. Addy shot her a smile and turned to face Ron, "How are you feeling?"
Ron looked as if he would puke at any moment. His freckled face was paler than usual and he had a permanent grimace plastered all over his handsome features.
Ron didn't look up from his plate, "Peachy." Addy couldn't help but laugh, making him turn to face her, "It's not funny!"
"It kind of is." Mindy shrugged.
Addy smacked her shoulder and gave Ron a kind smile, "I wasn't laughing at you, Ron."
Ron nodded and looked away from Addy and back at his plate of uneaten food. Addy sighed and turned to face Kat, "Speaking of, have you seen Peaches? She wasn't in our room this morning."
Kat nodded, "That girl, Olivia, brought Peaches to her dorm before you woke up. Said you were okay with it."
Mindy looked at Kat, "You just let some kid steal Peaches?"
Addy shook her head, "No, she's right. I said it was okay. She mentioned her cat, Tillie, was afraid of the Quiddich matches– because of the noise– and she always has to miss out to keep her company. So I told her that she could take Peaches to her room so Tillie could have company and she can enjoy the match. I just forgot, I suppose."
