I picked up the discarded jewelry.
I sighed in dismay.
What was I to do with it?
It was not as if Chole would ever come back to me.
No, I could tell she made it clear how she felt.
Adrien's POV:
Where had I gone wrong?
I was always supportive of her.
I was affectionate.
I recalled I gave her chocolates, roses, and a nice necklace for her birthday.
It was as if she returned the gifts.
Agh, I thought, ##### #%^&** kept them.
As for the ring, how was I to rid myself of it?
Good grief, I supposed that was what eBay was for.
Adrien's POV:
I turned on my computer.
I posted the ring with photos included on Craig's List and eBay.
I figured whoever offered the most money would get the ring.
I just never imagined, in a million years, it would be him.
I slammed the computer shut in shock.
