  Marinette's POV:

   I looked around me.

  I saw no one else.

Strange Alya, Nino, and Adrien must have left.

I supposed it was for the best.

I had run off without explanation.

  Marinette's  POV:

   I went on home.

I was not sure what else to do.

  I sighed.

It was barely a day since I found out Luka left me.

  I  heard my stomach growl.

Great, I needed food right now.

It was not good for the baby or me not to eat.

   Marinette's  POV:

I fixed some cucumber slices, cheese, and crackers, grapes, and a few leftovers of mashed potatoes.   I ate them in a shorter amount of time than it had taken me to prepare them.

    I drank some milk.

I  examined my hair in the mirror.

   Not bad, I thought.

    I was glad.

It was less trouble to care for now.

   Marinette's  POV:

     I got some sleep.

I awakened the next morning at 7 am.

    I threw up.

"So, much for no morning sickness," I shouted.

I felt tears as they formed in my eyes.

It was tough being alone like this.

     I  texted Alya.

I told her about the baby.

It was the first I spoke to anyone about the little human inside my womb, other than the doctor.

Too bad mother was not here.

I could have used some of her advice about now.

     Marinette's POV:

      I listened as Alya squealed.

I heard the excitement in her voice.

I asked her to be the godmother to my child.

I was grateful when she agreed.

At least now I had someone in mind to care for my son or daughter if something ever happened to me.  I was relieved.

Now, somehow the whole pregnancy thing did not seem so bad.

I laughed as Alya went on and on about how Aunt Alya would be glad to babysit.

Wow, the baby was not even yet, and I had a sitter!
