Chapter 31

  Chole's  POV:

    I am sure why I joined the group.

   It probably was my worst idea yet.

  I mean technically I was not single.

   How could I be?

   I had a boyfriend.  

  Granted Luka might have not called it that, but he was my boyfriend just the same.

    I knew he did not appear to be happy to see me.

    I supposed my sudden appearance was rather a shock.

    Still, could not he be grateful I came all this way to keep him company?

   I ditched Adrien for him.

   Was not that good enough?

   I mean Luka meant everything to me.

    

   I decided I would show him.

    I  found a singles chat room.

   I joined it.

   I said I was a bee.

   

   I did not think anyone would be smart enough to realize it was me.

    Besides, Luka missed out on the loveliest ring ever.

   I mean it, some turtle bought it.

  How dare he! 

   

    I  clicked on the button that took me to the chat.

    I  might as well since Luka walked off without a word to me.

   Not even a Chole nice to see you or anything.

    I saw the others were a cat, a ladybug, and some ridiculous monkey.

   

     I pretended to take interest in the others.

    Chat spoke mostly to the bug, How lame, I thought.

     Why did not he notice me?

      I  saw the part where she spoke of her ruined marriage.

     Too bad for her, she was probably a bore anyway.

        "Hi, I am the bee."

       "Anyone else singles here besides the bug and the cat?"

       "Me obviously." The monkey replied.

      I thought I might as well play it safe and act as I have not a man.

       "Same here."

      "Duh, it is a singles chat room," the monkey said next.

        I thought too bad he does not know I lied.

       I saw a later comer join the group.

      She went by the name bunny.  How cute, no how babyish I thought.

      

    Bunnies made me want to puke!

    I meant it.

   Ever since that one Easter, I got a pet bunny, it hopped into the road, a car came and my pet was hit. I was devasted at the death of my beloved rabbit.  I hated bunnies from then on because the sight of that dead rabbit on the road made me vomit.

    

  I  noticed the monkey and rabbit seemed to get along well in the chat.

    Ugh, so much for me.

    Why did I get any attention, hmm?

     Then, as I was about to exit, one last late person came in and he went by the viper.

 I thought he sounded daring and dangerous as he picked a snake of all things.

     "Hi, there bee!"

   I was taken aback when he spoke to me.

    "Hi, viper!"  I  responded.

   I was glad to get some attention for a change.

    Who knew, maybe if viper and I hit it off, then I could just break up with Luka.

       "So, bee, buzzing my way?"

        I blushed.

        Silly me, why should a remark as simple as that make me blush?

        It was not as if I actually met this viper, right?
