Time skip brought to you by  Marinette's Hair Ribbons!

Four months later, it was closer to Marinette and Adrien's meet-up.

Adrien still had not let on he knew who Ladybug was because he respected her too much to tell her. He struggled when it came to his identity. He almost let it slip out twice within the last few months.

    Adrien's  (Chat's) POV:

    "Ladybug, ladybug, ladybug?"

   "Yes, Chat?"

"Checkin to make sure you were okay. The last we spoke, you had a cold."

"I am much better Chat, thanks to the chicken soup, crackers, and ginger ale."

     "I am glad."

"Two months away til I see you at last."

       "Yes, two months away."

"Ladybug, you don't regret us, do you?"

      "No."

        "I see."

"Chat, what is the matter with you? You have grown distant lately."

"It has been ages since we last spoke."

"How are things with you and Adrien?"

             I could tell she hesitated.

          "Fine, we are friends now."

I know she kept in touch with Adrien under her assumed name.

            I sighed.

What would I do if she rejected me later?

             "Ladybug, I am sorry."

"I am such a bad boyfriend."

"Boyfriend, Chat,  we are not even dating."

"I know, but we will be soon, I hope."

"I look forward to the day we meet at last."

               "Same here."

Little did she know that Adrien was in agony both as Adrien and Chat. He felt he owed it to her to tell her the truth that he had met her before and that she disliked him. He did not wish to start a relationship with someone on lies.

He had to wait til later because he did not wish to scare her away either.

"I will wear a black leather jacket, jeans, a green shirt, and sneakers."

              "I beg your pardon."

"It is the outfit I plan to wear when I meet you."

"Oh, I see. I will wear a pink skirt, a white shirt, a pink jacket, and shoes."

"One more thing, I will hold a flower for you."

               "You will?"

"Yes, because I want to give it to you to celebrate our first day together."

                   "Okay, that sounds sweet."

"Chat, I will bring you something too."

                 "You will, what?"

                 "It is a surprise, Noir."

I smiled at the flirtiness in her message.

I could count the days til at last I could call her my girlfriend.

Little did I know that she suspected something was off about me. Little did I know she started to think perhaps Chat knew more than he let on or that Adrien was not anything like she expected him to be when he first texted her.
