 Marinette's  POV:

  I sighed.

I supposed I should have a decent middle name for my daughter.

I was shocked because I thought I would have a son.

Her first name was Alyno -Alya's name combined with Nino's, so I supposed I could name her Mari as a middle name. I liked the name Belle better.

I wrote Belle as her middle name on the birth certificate.

I jotted down Dupain-Cheng as my maiden name in the slot next to my mother's maiden name.

I hated to lie, but since the father know's nothing of her, I did not write a name for that part.

I  put the baby's last name as my maiden name.

I could legally have this changed later if need be.

  I smiled.

I  hadn't told Chat Noir her name.

I frowned because  I had hoped we could share our identities before she was born.

I knew now that was impossible.

"Well, my little Alyno Belle, we shall hope Chat Noir finds both of us at some point."

"I will tell him about Auntie Alya and Uncle Nino."

I would have named the child Nino Henry Dupain-Cheng had I had a son.

I would not trade my daughter for any stinking boys in the world.

I learned that lesson the hard way.

I  promised myself that the only thing little Alyno Belle would no about her father was how much of a disgrace he was and how he did not love us as he should.

I figured he would not have left me otherwise.

I worried about what should happen if he found out about her.

Would he try to take her from me to spite me?

I made sure my daughter had some nourishment and was burped.

I handed her over to Aunt Alya for a quick diaper change.

"Baby girl, your Aunt Alya will make that smelly diaper go bye-bye soon."

I heard her as she made cute noises at my child.

Two days later, Uncle Nino drove us home despite my protest.

"I will take the bag inside, and you get that bundle of joy."

I did as he said.     It was nice to see the packages had arrived from Chat Noir.

"Well, she is certainly spoiled already, and so are you."

    "What do you mean?"

"These flowers came for you  with a note  included."

I shall read the note once I get Alyno Belle to her crib.

I grinned as he placed her inside the small crib that Nino had built for her.
