Chapter 17

    Alya's  POV:

I wondered what made Marinette rush off as she did.

    I knew Adrien meant well.

It was not like he was trying to be insensitive.

I hoped Marinette learned to call it some slack.

  Alya's  POV:

Later, I arrived home, and I saw a post about a ring.

    I thought it looked familiar.

     Oh, no!  I gasped.

"Adrien was going to propose to Chole!"

It took me long enough to figure it out.

Did not Nino say Chole dumped Adrien?

     I knew it.

I knew Chole was a hustler.

      Alya's  POV:

I personally considered it a favor to Adrien.

The guy could definitely do better than that Malibu Barbie wannabe.

      I was sure of it.

I was certain Marinette could do better than Luka the snake.

I  hoped perhaps in time that both Marinette and Adrien's hearts would heal.

     Alya's  POV:

Some guy named Turtle offered how much?

I was shocked.  It was a load of money.

Whoever it was sounded desperate to buy it.

      I laughed.

Honestly, turtle?  It was Nino as much as I was called Fox by him back in college.

Awe, Nino, I thought, how sweet of you to help Adrien out.

I never knew Nino was rich.

Strange, I thought he was more of a middle-class fellow myself.

I admitted that the whole business amazed me.

  Alya's  POV:

My job dropped.

"Necklace on sale for how much?"

   It was so cheap.

  Gosh, I would buy it.

Then, again, who was I kidding?

I did not want jewelry from some immature girl who called herself Bee.

I figured the Bee must be a lot like Chole.

I never trusted strangers who did not use their real names.

Too bad, it was her loss.

Alya's POV:

I thought, how does a fox outwit a bee?

I knew you set up a bee trap.

I decided to bait this rotten stinker type person.

I laughed as I posted a bogus photo of earrings and clicked the upload button.

"Great, now time for a little fun!" I squealed.
