It was a breezy Saturday morning when I was jogging along the neighborhood. I was listening to music while jogging so I didn't notice that someone called me.
I went to the nearest bench and got my phone out. A notification is displayed indicating that I missed a call. I checked who it was and I saw that it was Y/bf/n (Your best friend's name).
I clicked the notification and started calling her. "Y/n!" She said excitedly. "Wow, you're in a good mood today, what's up?" "I just wanted to let you know that Zach and I, together with his friends, are going to the amusement park later. Maybe you'd like to come with us?" Y/bf/n asked.
I sighed before answering. To be honest, I didn't really like hanging out with Y/bf/n whenever she's with Zach. They've been together for over a year now and I still can't move on from what happened.
I was the first person who met Zach and that's where I started to have feelings for him. Y/bf/n knew about that and she also knew that I was suppose to tell Zach about my feelings the day they became a couple.
Before I could even tell Zach how I really feel, I already heard that she confessed to him how she feels.
It broke my heart knowing that my best friend took the guy that I like from me. That didn't ruin or friendship though. She apologized to me later on telling me that she didn't know that I was going to confess to Zach that day but I was certain that I told her that before.
"Hello? Earth to Y/n?" Y/bf/n said over the phone. "Oh yeah... um sure I'd be glad to join you." I said. "Great. I'll send you the deets later. See you bff!" She said excitedly and hanged up.
I exhaled and looked down at ground. I didn't really want to go but I don't want Y/bf/n to take a hint that I still can't move on from what she did 10 months ago.
I stood up from the bench and started jogging my way back home with the thoughts of what's going to happen later.

I arrived at the amusement park and searched for Y/bf/n and the rest of the guys. I saw a familiar figure who was waving at me so I ran up to it.
"Y/n I'm so glad you can make it." Y/bf/n said hugging me. I hugged her back and looked at the guys next to her. I greeted them all and I was quite confused when I noticed that Zach isn't with them.
"Um, where's Za-" I was suppose to ask Y/bf/n but then Zach came with two cotton candies on his hand, giving the other to Y/bf/n. "Here you go babe." He said.
I exhaled and tried my best to show no emotion towards them. "Oh hey Y/n, you're here!" Zach said when he saw me. "Yup, I'm here." I said and plastered a fake smile.
"What are we waiting for? Let's go and have some fun!" Corbyn shouted and everyone screamed excluding me.

We rode a few rides and after that, we got really hungry so we decided to buy something to eat.
As we sat on the chairs and eat what we bought, I couldn't help but to look at Y/bf/n and Zach being sweet and all. They were feeding each other and I couldn't help but to feel disgusted. Zach must've noticed it as he stopped and looked at me.
"What's wrong Y/n? Don't you like your food? Want me to buy you this?" He asked, referring to what they were eating. "Um no thanks. I just really need to go and pee that's all." Zach nodded and I stood up pretending to go to the restroom.
On my way to the 'restroom' I couldn't help but to cry a little. A few tears escaped my eyes as I wipe it aggressively. I bumped on someone and when I looked up I saw Daniel.
My eyes widened and walked away trying to avoid him but he grabbed my shoulder and made me face him. "Y/n, why are you crying? Did you got hurt or something? I'm calling a medic." He said worrying.
"N- no I'm fine. I just need to go to the restroom." I lied. I started to walk but he stopped me again. "Y/n, tell me what's wrong and I promise I'll listen to you." Daniel said giving me a reassuring smile.
I bursted out of crying once he said that and I couldn't help but to cry in front of him. Daniel hugged me and held me tight as I cried on his shoulder. "Shh, it's okay, just let it all out." He said diving rubbing my back.
I pulled away and wiped my tears after. "I'm sorry Daniel, this is so embarrassing." "That's okay, we all have our own problems in life but what's important is that we have someone to share it with." He smiled. "So Y/n, tell me what you feel."
I exhaled sharply before answering, "I don't know if you notice but I didn't really want to join you guys since I know that Zach and Y/bf/n would be here." "Why would you say such thing? Did Zach and Y/bf/n do something wrong to you?" Daniel asked acknowledging me to continue.
"Well not Zach but... Y/bf/n." I said and began to tell Daniel what really happened 10 months ago. "And that's why I don't know if I can still act the same towards Y/bf/n anymore." I said, finishing my story.
"Ouch, that hurts so bad." Daniel said. "But don't worry Y/n, I promise I won't tell it to anyone else." I hugged Daniel once again and thanked him for hearing me out. "Come on, let's go back. I'm sure they're already looking for us." I said and we went back to where they are.
When we went back, Jonah called Daniel so Daniel went to check on Jonah as I searched for Y/bf/n. I saw her standing next to Zach and her smile faded when she saw me.
I waved at them and Zach waved back at me. "So, should we ride some more rides?" Zach began. "No thanks, I need to talk to Y/n first." Y/bf/n said.
She started walking and I followed her. Y/bf/n stopped walking when Zach was already far from us.
"What is it that you wanted to tell me? Do you want me to drive you home or-" "Oh stop with the act Y/n, I heard your conversation with Daniel earlier and I know how you feel about Zach." She blurted out.
"But-" "Listen Y/n, starting from now, I don't want you to go near Zach ever again or else I'll tell him that your backstabbing me." Y/bf/n said intensely looking at me as she turned her back at me and walked away after.
I was speechless after she left so I decided to go home without thinking about any of them.

I was sitting on the couch thinking about what would I tell them if they ask me why did I go home when the doorbell rang. I groaned and went to get the door.
When I opened the door, I saw Zach standing on my front porch. My eyes widened and I immediately closed the door. "I'm sorry Zach, I can't talk to you right now. I'm sick so you can't go near me." I lied.
I heard him sigh loudly as he spoke after. "Look Y/n, if you're avoiding me because of what Y/bf/n told you then I say you should stop it."
I was surprised at his sudden reply so I opened the door again. "Why? I mean how did you know?" "I followed you two earlier and I overheard her talking." Zach replied.
"You shouldn't be here. If Y/bf/n finds out she's going to kill me." I warned Zach. He shrugged his shoulders and said, "So what if Y/bf/n finds out? I already broke up with her anyway."
"What?" I exclaimed shocked. "I broke up with her." Zach said once again emphasizing what he did. "Why?"
"It's because I found out how you feel about me. Daniel told me after I told him that I heard what Y/bf/n said to you. If I'm being honest, I'd say I liked you back before and I still do. Y/bf/n and I dated because she confessed to me back then and I didn't want to hurt her feelings. She told me that you hated me that time so I didn't bother confessing to you how I felt. And now, I admit that I was hurt at first knowing that you hated me when I loved you for years."
"So now I'm asking you Y/n, do you still think there is a chance for us to be together?"
