Chapter 1

Sanemi's Pov

" Chief Shinazugawa chief we have a problem. " One officer raced through the police department office yelling while dodging people in his way. He managed to find his way through the desks of paper and moving officers towards his chiefs office instantly throwing the door open in his haste. When he did he came into a paper littered office with a small board at the corner on it suspects and victim photos pasted, a brown coffee desk sat in the middle of the room with a single black chair behind it. Papers scattered from the floor to the folder cabnet at the far left of the office against the wall.

" Who the hell said you could come barging in. " A bone chilling voice asked in semi-anger while he looked out the window his white hair shadowing his one eye due to the angle of the light. The younger officer gulped down his fear before he spoke shakily.

" Chief we have a problem. " He said silently.

" Then speak damnit. " He yelled out in anger turning to the officer his face covered with scars while his eyes were red from the sleepless nights he put into this case.

" The witness was shot just a few hours ago and hasn't made it. " At these words the white haired man slammed his fist against the desk while he stared at him.

" How the fuck did that happen? We had officers in the room twenty four seven. " He yelled out in anger.

" They said they were ordered to switch shifts an hour earlier before the victim was shot and the officers who were supposed to take shift after said they heard no such thing. " He explained shaking at the chiefs intense glare.

" Fucken morons I never ordered a shift change at all today. Half assed fuckers now we're back to square one with a case going cold. " Sanemi yelled throwing papers onto the floor out of anger.

" But chief we did get a few words from the doctors who tended to him before he passed. "

" Well tell me what the fuck he said. " Sameni growled.

" He said Kocho sisters next but sir we don't know what the meant. " Sanemi looked at his officer with an irritated look thinking to himself how he had idiots working under him.

" Note to self get smarter officers. Idiots it obviously means the Kocho sisters are next. Now I want you to run everything we know about the name Kocho. I want to know them down to the tiniest detail we can. " He said turning to the window once again.

" Yes sir. Should we keep surveillance? " The brown haired Junior looked almost excited at the mention on the said word.

" No just get me what I asked for we'll go from there. Oh and tell Marty to bring her in Akaze may have been a bad man but his wife still needs to know. " Sanemi said calmly the younger officer nodded and ran off leaving the white haired man to his thoughts.

Kimitsu academy 15:00

The school seemed vibrant at this hour with students moving back and forth some seeking to stay in the confidence of the school while others sort to leave immediately since the bell had already rung. Amongst the students walked one Shinobu Kocho who was moving towards her favorite destination the detention room. However a gentle smile graced her face as her compound purple eyes searched the crowd for a certain group of people she'd desperately needed to talk to.

" Shinobu-nee-san. " A voice called making the girl turn to her left to spot just the people she was searching for. She waited patiently as the three juniors approached her.

" Shinobu-senpai were you on your way to meet Tomioka-san? " A boy with a vibrant attitude and a mop of crimson hair with a scar on his forehead asked his smile never leaving his face.
