Hospital

The night was especially busy as doctors and nurses went about running around in every direction trying to assist patients. Though none of that mattered to Giyu who was pacing up and down the waiting area for the past three hours. The fact that Shinobu had practically stopped breathing while in his arms was a haunting realisation that he might just loose her forever. His hands were still stained with the blood of his lover from when he'd held her frail body to escape the big creepy house that Douma had supposedly been killing his past victims evident by the many pictures and clothes he found while searching through it.

" Giyu! " At the sound of someone calling his name Giyu looked up to the end of the hallway that led into the waiting room his was currently in, l where he saw a fast approaching Kanae was with worried etched on her face. When the girl got to his side she was panting probably from running so much.
" How is she? I'm sorry it took so long I couldn't leave Kanao, Tanjiro and Nezuko without making sure they're fine. "

" It's fine and I don't know. I haven't heard anything since she was taken. " Giyu said with worry but this was still with his emotionless face, at his words Kanae just threw herself of the chair and placed her face into her hands. It was silent for a few seconds before Giyu noticed her body shake tremendously showing that Kanae was crying. Giyu was at a loss here thee Kanae Kocho actually crying it was the first for him to see because all the time he's known her he's only seen her smile then again her sister was fighting for her life. " I'm sorry. " Giyu suddenly found himself saying loud enough to get the girls attention. This caused Kanae to look up at him with her tear stained face

" What? "

" I said I'm sorry. I shouldn't have let her go knowing what she was doing. I should have been there sooner maybe then I would have protected her. " Giyu said with each word he was getting angrier at himself. " Damnit I'm so stupid I should have protected her as her...... Fuck. " Giyu said sitting down next to Kanae and staring down at his red hands.

" Giyu..... "

" Tomioka Giyu!? " Another voice yelled out in the busy waiting room the both of them looked over to the other side where a nurse stood.

" Yes that's me. " He said loudly standing up and rushing over Kanae close behind him. When they got to her side he took a short breath the days exhaustion catching up to him. " Yes how is she? " At his question the nurse simply smiled.

" I gotta say your wife is lucky. The bullet only managed minimal damage just missed anything vital in its path. We managed to pull it out with ease and have been with her since. " The nurse said with her smile getting bigger. " Follow me and I'll fill you in in the way. " The nurse turned and started hurriedly walking away with the duo close behind her.

" Her condition. How is she doing? " Kanae asked as they walked behind the nurse and down the halls.

" She's in perfect condition aside from the trauma and pain she should be well. Her recovery should take only about three weeks if not less. " The nurse said coming to a stop next to a door. " Now do you want the good news or the best news? " The door to the room swung open and a doctor walked out taking off latex gloves a smile on her face before she motioned the three to come into the room. The two of them though we're still confused with the question from earlier but quickly swallowed it when they saw the young girl in the room staring back at them a strained smile but alive.

" Shinobu. " Kanae practically leapt to her sister and hugged her with tears down her face. " I thought I told you not to scare me like this again. " Kanae said.
