Chapter 16

Shinobu

" Come on!!! " A low whisper of frustration sounded in the bathroom of the Kocho resident. " Why won't it come off. " The voice again asked as the persons mind clogged with the past events she desperately tried to was away. Her skin turned red with the furious amount of scrubbing it had received in the past thirty minutes. She didn't even care or feel the burning water that was cooled by her tears, the beautiful compound eyes held no light in them only fear and panick.

' How could I let this happen I should've known better. ' she yelled in her thoughts as her skin started to turn a dangerous red making her stop her actions at the intense pain. Only then did she notice she was laying in the bathtub with her clothes soak and no shirt on, she quickly jumped out of the tub and looked around herself. It was a mess and she had done all this, it was all her fault she should have known, her gaze fixed onto the wall mirror looking at her reflection and the sight made her tremble even more.

" Damnit!!! " She yelled at the top of her lungs her small fists connecting with the glass version of herself. Her shoulders trembled as her tears fell freely down her face anger, pain, fear and disgust bubbled in the pits of her heart but the one that raised above all was hate. Hate to herself for being so weak, hate to him for being so strong and hate towards the world for making her this way. She looked back at the cracked mirror only the see the blood running down then dripping into the sink.

" Shinobu!? Are you okay I heard yelling!? " Her sisters voice sounded as she tried desperately to open the door. However Shinobu was in a world of her own moving her knuckle against the mirror cutting deeper she swiped across her reflection painting it in crimson. " Shinobu!? " Kanae furiously banged the door and managed to burst into the bathroom only to gasp at the sight in front of her. All around the bathroom was water and endless mess of clothes and towels but the sight that scared her most was the blood stained mirror that currently lay against her sisters hand and her completely red skin.

" W..why? " Shinobu finally uttered while her eyes stayed staring at her reflection, the sound of her broken voice bothered Kanae who quickly acted and tried pulled her sister into an embrace. The sudden touch to her skin shock the girl who responded by back habd slapping her older sister out of fear making her blood splatter on Kanae's cheek.

" S.. Shinobu? " Kanae asked bringing the girl back to reality, a quiet gasp drew both their attention to the bathroom door where the youngest Kocho stood completely shocked. The look in her eyes seemed to snap Shinobu awake as she looked around then down to her bloody hand and her older sisters blood stained hand.

" I'm s...sorry. " Shinobu said shaking her eyes directed to the ground.

" Shinobu it's fine it was an accident. Though you don't look so good what's wrong? "  Shinobu turned to the sink and ran water washing her hand from the blood. Her eyes hollowed out again and she went on to scraping her nails against her wrist muttering unheard words. Kanae was panicked at the sight something was obviously wrong with her sister.

" Shinobu!! It's alright honey your alright. " Kanae spoke grabbing the younger girls wrist and stopping her from harming herself. " Kanao please get the first aid kit and a change of clothes. " Kanae spoke resting on the floor with Shinobu against her chest crying Kanao only nodded and left to get what was asked of her a worried look plastered on her face.

A short chapter yeah I know but I thought I should make a filler for the last chapter although I can guess that most of you know what happened to Shinobu.
