She woke up to the sound of her alarm. She got up and did her routine. She decided to wear some jeans, a blue blouse and her converse. She braided her bangs and held them off with bobby pins. She left her apartment and walked to the coffee shop, her first and last stop every day. Eun-Ae was already waiting for her with her usual coffee and her morning pastry that served as her breakfast. Eun-Ji was sitting on one of the stools in her school uniform. Every morning, Ana would walk with her to school, since it was in the same direction as hers.

"You are ready to go?" Ana asked Eun-Ji, while taking a sip of her coffee. Eun-Ji was doing some homework. Eun-Ji looked at Ana and nodded. She closed her book and put it in her backpack.

"Bye eomma." Eun-Ji said to her mom. Ana bowed goodbye and they both left the coffee shop. Eun-Ji entangled her arm in Ana's. "Unnie, how is dating life?" Eun-Ji asked Ana. Ana looked at her with her eyes wide open.

"Why the question?" Ana asked Eun-Ji.

"No reason." Eun-Ji said, smiling, a devilish smile. "It's just you are young, and so pretty." Eun-Ji said. "I find it hard to believe you are still single." She said.

"Well, I am Eun-Ji." Ana said. "Stop setting me up." She said. "Remember what happened last time?" The thought crossing her mind made her shake in disgust.

"In my defense, I thought he was nice." Eun-Ji said. "Fine. I won't set you up. I was going to set you up with my cousin. He's decent and has a great job." Eun-Ji said. "But it's okay. I won't set you up."

"Thank you." Ana said. They arrived at Eun-Ji's school. "Go." Ana said letting go of her arm. Eun-Ji went inside. Ana walked a couple more blocks and arrived at her school.

After the school day was over, she walked to the bookstore. The tall man was there are the register. He had some books in his hands. He handed haraboji some bills, bowed and left.

"He really is a regular." Ana said, walking to the counter and giving him a bow.

"I told you he was." Haraboji said.

"I have never seen him before." She said.

"He usually comes in the morning." Haraboji said.

"Is he the one that gave me the book?" Ana asked him.

"I'm not going to tell you who it was. Stop asking." Haraboji said with a smile.

"Fine." Ana said, giving up. "But is he like old? Or is he around my age?" Ana asked haraboji. Not really letting go of the topic. "Just answer that please. You don't have to give me details just if he is around my age." Ana said. Haraboji sighed, knowing she wasn't going to give up.

"He is your age or around your age. Maybe a bit older." Haraboji said. Ana thought back to the man that was here early, but she quickly shook the thought out of her head. She got the book out her purse and handed it to haraboji.

"What is this?" He asked her.

"Give it to the man that gave me the book. I'm returning the favor." She said. Haraboji picked the book.

"Ok, I will." He said, placing the book under the counter. "He should come back soon." He said. "I don't know when." He said, shrugging. "But I'll make sure to give him the book." He said.

"Good." Ana said. "I'm gonna go to the coffee shop. I need to finish the book." She said, giving him a small bow. She walked to the coffee shop and sat at her usual place. She got the book out of her purse and started to read. Eun-Ji came a couple of minutes later and gave her, her americano.

"Another one?" Eun-Ji asked Ana. Ana looked up at her and smiled. "Gosh." Eun-Ji said and walked away. Ana returned to her book. She was interrupted by her phone ringing. It was her friend's distinctive ringtone. She grabbed her headphones and answered the call. "You're alive?" Ana asked her, looking at her through the screen. She placed her book on the table and picked her americano. Her friend laughed.
