"First day back how you feeling"

My brother, Hyungwon, held an imaginary microphone
to me as he drove me to school.

"Wonderful, now keep your hands
on the wheel."

"Ayy, you're no fun."

I laughed and continued to look out the window.

Can I just open this car door without dying?

"Don't think about opening the door."

"Okay fine, how about you drop me off
here so I can think of a plan?"

"Plan for what, to escape?"

"No, mom will come after both of us. I
just want to see how I can enter without
being seen."

"Good luck, you're pastel blue backpack
isn't exactly camouflage material."

"Shhhh, just drop me off here."

"Fine."

He pulled over to the side, we were only a block away
from school. I got off the car, fixing my uniform that
surprisingly still fit me. I swear I gained weight in the U.S.

"Thank you bro"

"Hmmm, get to school on time
and don't worry about them."

I waved goodbye and walked as slow as I could.

Now how can I pull this off? I could jump over the wall.
Nah, I am not tall enough to pull that off.

My thoughts were cut off by hearing students. Sure enough,
the entrance of the school was right in front of me.
I remember entering here when I was new.

[ FLASHBACK ]

I don't know anyone here! I hate transferring.

I looked at the entrance and just tried to walk as fast
as I could to the teacher's office. I wasn't
looking at some guy bumped into me.

"Humph"

I groaned as I landed on my butt. I looked and
saw a guy with a mullet

Who has mullets these days?

"Oh"

The guy said and walked off with a group of people.

Jerk.

I noticed some keys on the floor.

He must've dropped them on floor, I could be a nice
person and return them but there is no fun in that.

I got up and immediately grabbed the keys, making sure no one saw.
I looked and saw another guy staring at me with intense eyes.

Great, he saw! Gotta go.

I just looked away and sped walked.
He didn't follow so I felt relieved.
