Niall Pov:

y/n screamed and cried and gripped onto my shirt so I didn't have to put her into the crib
" it's 10, past your bedtime little girl, you have to sleep " i told her as she cried " dada no 'eave me " she said as she stomped in her crib with her hands still gripped onto my shirt,

" y/n horan, please go to sleep, you have to be a big girl and sleep by yourself " i said as she shook her head crying " no no no no " she cried, I don't even remember the last time she slept in her bed, I gave in to easily every day,

But that was going to change because I don't remember the last time sleeping alone! she kicked and moved to much in her sleep, but she was adorable so how was I going to kick her out of my bed.

" if dada makes you a bottle and stays with you until you fall asleep will you stop crying " I said as she threw herself back into her crib thankfully not hitting her head but kicking and screaming louder as she threw all her stuffed animals at me, ouch, she threw plastic car keys!

I couldn't handle her crying so I left- " NO DADA " she cried hitting the bars of her crib
" I'll be back I promise, calm down" I said as I went downstairs to get her a bottle of milk, a pacifier and gummy snacks

I quickly came back upstairs realizing her cries weren't as loud as when I left I walk in the room and when she sees me she makes grabby hands immediately so I walk up to the crib and picked her up with one arm,

I bring her to the window where the rocking chair is and I sit with her on my lap cuddled into me
" nummy! " she says as I nod
" if dada gets one kiss and you wipe those silly tears, you can have one " i said as she quickly wiped her tears and pecked my cheek

" no cwy " she said softly smiling as i mentally awed kissing her cheek making her giggle a little,

I opened the gummies, taking one for myself then passing her the little bag of gummies that had about 9 more in there,

we sat there quietly with a minimum of sniffles and soft quiet sighs, " dada " she said pointing up to the sky, the view was beautiful and the stars and moon were in view tonight,

" what dat " she said softly pointing as I stared confused
" big " she whispered as i nodded
" that's the moon, it's pretty right" I told her as she nodded

she quietly yawned making me grin " tired princess " I said as she shook her head quickly " no dada " she said as I kissed her head " here how about a bottle " I said as she nodded quickly

I held the bottle to her lips as she then started drinking it slowly,
I could tell her was trying to fight her tiredness but it wasn't working, she tried fighting to stay awake " it's alright you can go to sleep, dada's not leaving you " I said as she wiped her eyes as continued to drink,

and soon she stopped fighting letting her eyes close and letting herself fall to sleep at exactly 11:25pm, I was so happy I could finally sleep, today was a long day

I left her bottle and gummy wrappers by the window and went to lay her down, but as soon as she lost the contact of my arms she shot back up and started whining,

here we go again!

I picked her back up bringing her to my room and letting her crawl into my bed where she then fell fast asleep as soon as her face hit the pillow " goodnight y/n " I said shaking my head knowing that this would become a habit and my bed will eventually become hers!
