#95- Cant Sleep -DDM

Y/n POV:

I kept moving around in my bed not being able to go to sleep
I sat up in my bed with my teddy in my arms and I kept seeing shadows moving which kinda scared me but daddy always said that there wasn't anything there and that if there was they were nice monsters but I don't believe him

So I got up and went to his room I saw the lights were on so I quickly ran into his room and jumped on his bed hiding my face in his side

" y/n it's 12 in the morning what are you doing awake " he said rubbing my back and moving my hair out of my face

" I could ask you the same thing daddy " I said sitting up

" I'm an adult I can go to bed whenever " he said as I shook my head " you say there's no monsters but I'm serious I think there are monsters in there and I can't sleep I'm not tired I'm just scared " I told him as he let me lay on his stomach listening to his heart beat

" how about I sing you a song " he said as I nodded and held my teddy bear close " it won't work though " I said as he laughed and shook his head

" I bet it will " he said as I laid my head on his chest and he played with my hair and making little circles on my back

Niall Pov:

I played with her hair using one hand and with my other I drew little circles and shapes on her back and began singing:

you are my sunshine
my only sunshine
you make me happy
when skies are grey
you'll never know how,
how much I love you
please don't my y/n away

After I sang I heard soft little snores from y/n realizing she was asleep. I thought of taking her back to her bed but i thought maybe just for tonight she can sleep in here with me even though she slept here yesterday, - and the day before that and the day before that and the day before that, honestly I don't remember the last time she slept in her room for a full night, but as long as she was happy and felt safe that's all that mattered

I moved her to the side making a pillow barrier so she wouldn't fall of the bed and I kissed her forehead and fell asleep myself
