Soyeon flinched as soon as Minnie's hand came in contact with her shoulder. It was meant to be an encouraging pat on the shoulder, a sign of her friend cheering her on as she moves to pursue the Chinese girl but the slap came out to be a little stronger than expected
"Sorry sorry"
"I'm just too excited, but I said this before already, you can do this, we didn't raise you to chicken out the last minute"
"Okay I can do this" Soyeon straightens her uniform and checks herself in front of a pocket mirror that the maknae has been holding. She smiled at her supportive friends, they've been with her through thick and thin and she'll be there for them too, no matter what happens because they're no longer just the doe-eyed youngsters that met through detention before. Now, they were family.
"COME ON UNNIE, GO GET YOUR GIRL" Shuhua cheered
With one last check (she has triple-checked her appearance) Soyeon moves out and disappeared into the corner of the block
Only to come back looking dejected, her back was hunched and her face looked heavy in defeat.
