Emily P.O.V.

When I go upstairs, I end up sleeping the rest of the night. But at 4:29, I feel my stomach begin to churn. I quickly run to the bathroom and let it all out. I saw Daniel roll over but I guess he is too mad to comfort me. After about fifteen minutes I hear a knock on the bathroom door.

"Emily, are you okay?"

I'm still throwing up, so I can't answer him.

"Will you please unlock the door?" he asks.

I'm still sick.

"I'm throwing up, Daniel. No, I'm not fine. And why do you even want to help? You don't even think that the baby is your own," I say with tears running down my cheeks.

I hear him sigh and he is obviously trying to think of a reasonable response.

"I'm sorry, Emi. I really am. I shouldn't have thought that and I shouldn't have doubted you. Now, will you please unlock the door?"

I stand up and wipe off my face. I brush my teeth then open the door. I walk right past Daniel.

"There, I opened it. Are you happy?" I say while getting back inter the covers. But right as I get under the covers, Noah starts to cry. Daniel is already in bed (and so am I, but whatever) so I get up and walk into his nursery. I pick him up and then sit in the rocking chair. I feed him as think about Daniel and how I can try to fix this. It kind of is my fault, right? I got pregnant and at a questionable time. After Noah is asleep, I put him back in his crib. I walk downstairs and sit on the swing outside. A few hours later, I feel a body in my presence. They put their hands on my shoulders and kiss my neck.

"I'm sorry, babe. I'm sorry for not being there for you and comforting you. Always know that I love you," Daniel tells me. I knew it was him once he kissed my neck.

"Daniel?" I ask having him sit next to me.

"Yea?"

"Do you want this baby? Please, please be honest," I beg.

He doesn't respond for a minute, almost as if he was trying to think of a good reason to tell me 'no.'

"I guess I have my answer," I say standing up and walking away.

By the time I'm upstairs, Noah is awake. I go into his room and feed him again. I get him ready and then bring him downstairs. Daniel is about to leave for work when he puts his briefcase down and and turns around. He puts his hands on my cheeks, and kisses me passionately. Then, he says the one word I have been waiting to hear: "Yes."
