Emily P.O.V.

"Ahhhh...It feels nice to be home," I said falling onto the couch.

"It does. Doesn't it?" Daniel asks.

"Daniel? What are we going to do about the baby?"

"What do you mean?"

"Now that we are home, we need to make doctors appointments. But because you will be at work, I can schedule them and go al-," I say but get cut off.

"No. During this pregnancy or any pregnancy you may have, I don't want to hear the word, 'alone.' Because you are not alone in this, Emily."

"Yes, Sir," I respond.

I start to get an uneasy feeling inside myself so I clutch my stomach and run to the bathroom.

"Emi," Daniel starts, "Are you okay?"

"Yea," I reply wiping my mouth.

I go over to the sink and pull out my extra toothbrush that I keep downstairs. I brush my teeth then go back out to the kitchen where Daniel was getting a glass of water.

"Do you want to go on a walk?" I asked.

"Sure. Just down the beach?"

"Yea. Or we could drive to the park and walk on the paths there..."

"I prefer beach," he states.

"Alrighty. No shoes?" I ask him as he walks out barefoot.

He looks at me with a weird smile.

"Emily, we are walking in sand by the water. How long have you lived here?"

"My whole life. I just don't want you to step on something and hurt yourself," I say that last part sarcastically.

"Emily, your hormones are getting to you. I can tell."

"Fine. Let's go!" I say grabbing his hand.

As we are walking on the beach, we begin to talk baby names.

"I like Kaylee Madison. Or Kaylee Harper. Harper after your mom's maiden name. For girl names, at least," I say.

"Evelyn Hayes?" Daniel suggests.

"I like it, but Evelyn sounds like an older name."

"Peyton?" he asks.

"Eh, not really liking it as much as Kaylee Harper," I reply.

"What about for a boy?" asks Daniel.

We walk in silence for a while, not mentioning any of the names that may be in our heads.

"How about Noah? Noah...," I finally say.

"Edward? Noah Edward Grayson," he responds.

"I love it!"

"So Noah Edward for a boy and Kaylee Harper for a girl."

"Perfect!"

Once we reach the pier, we sit down and I rest my head on Daniel's lap. We sit there quietly for what feels like hours. After a while, we stand up and walk back to our beach house, hand in hand.

"Just think, next year at this time, we will be strolling these beaches with our own little baby."

"I know. And I couldn't be happier," I tell him. We both stop walking, look at each other, and go in for a short but passionate kiss.
