Yellow rain jacket
Hood on, my hair slightly damp
Rain slipping off jacket
In my childhood years
I used to dance in this rain;
The rain danced with me
I'd clumsily slide
Around on the gray sidewalk
I'd jump in puddles
Puddles that looked like oceans
When I was still young
Now I walk with nostalgia
Feeling so alone
In a sea of umbrellas
Watching the rain fall
Now I walk like I'm older
I walk properly
Envious of young children
Who dance in the rain
