After much convincing, Sirius and Severus had agreed to try out along James. The Quidditch Captain was 5th year student named Romeo Walker. He was a chaser. He started the try-outs and announced that James was the second chaser on the team. Sirius eventually made it into the team as the 3rd chaser with Severus being made a reserved player.

They played a number of matches together. Gryffindor managed to make their way to the finals against Slytherin. They were leading in the house cup points as well. The practice for the final match started and the keeper, Justin Shawn, ended up having a really bad injury. Severus took his place and turned out to be pretty good at it.

On the day of the match, they made their way to the field. It was drizzling and the stands had taken it upon themselves to turn into umbrellas for the people standing beneath it. Madam Hooch started the match and it soon turned into a very interesting match with Gryffindor leading with 100 points.

Severus did not let any Slytherin chaser score. Sirius, James and Romeo continued scoring. The snitch was caught soon enough. Gryffindor won the Quidditch cup and the house cup as well.
