It was a coincidence. How else could this be explained after all?

[A/N: Let me explain.]

Due to some weird circumstances Reborn, Colonello & Skull had been captured by the NYCPD.
Yes, they were in New York. Captured by the civilian Police. The shame the Greatest Hitman in the World must be feeling!!

And the offenses they commited? Stalking a woman, weird and offensive cosplay in broad daylight as well as stealing a motorbike.

Now, Reborn got accused for the 'weird cosplay', Colonello for stealing and Skull for stalking?
They'd never picked the Cloud to go that low except if it was a job from the Carcassa's - which it wasn't. Even worse.
Skull didn't seem concerned about his charge though. In fact, by the time a senior deputy walked passed them Skull called out to him: "James!"

The guy looked around until his eyes landed on SKULL looking... that emotion couldn't be right? He's happy? Seeing Skull? Maybe a fan of his job as a stuntman?

"Skull?! Why are you here? Brought some donuts for a friendly visit? Or what did you do this time?" the deputy turned to the officer questioning them and got briefed on their crimes.
He burst into laughter at Skull's offence asking who did Skull stalk.

"Estelle Jackson, a young girl in her teens attending the local high school."

He gave Skull an inquisitive look, receiving a nod in return: "Yeah, the sister" and the man seemimgly understood something that escaped their - a Hitman and snipers - understanding.

By now both had gained an interest in the conversation - what did this man find amusing about their useless Cloud stalking a teen girl? Though they should set Lal loose on him afterwards. That's gonna be fun/ chaos.

"You checked up on her, heh?"

"I couldn't help it! And in my defense- she didn't even recognise me! Though I'm glad she isn't as down as the previous year cause of her missing brother. Pretty sure she learned some self-defense by now so that's good."

The deputy rolled his eyes good naturedly telling the other officer who was questioning the (undercover mafioso) offenders to let Skull go. The officer refused to do so unless the girl said it was fine and Skull could prove his relationship with her to be legal.

They called the girl during school hours through the office.

'Estelle' seemed fine with it and apparently found the situation just as amusing as James as she continued to laugh and troll Skull: "You need to tell the police beforehand! Heck, they should know you by now! And thanx for looking out for me. My brother showed up 6 months later after you stopped me and he said he's grateful to you. Mom and dad also said your welcome to come by anytime - she's got enough blue cookies for all of us!

With that Skull was released and then decided to be merciful by bailing out the other two ex-Arco's.

"So Skull, you finished your 'check-up' here yet?" James guided them out of the station which Reborn noticed that Skull knew where to go and even greeted a few. 'Was he here often?'

Skull sighed at James' humured tone: "Yes, yes I did. Now let me go before I hit you with your own gun in the head." He sassed back, the man gave a short pout while a few other officers snickered.
He then fixed his expression and they exited the police station...

"...You stole my motorbike?!" Skull looked crestfallen and in utter despair. "My baby-! I should've left you bastards to rot in that cell!"
The stuntman clung to the vehicle as if checking that it didn't need a funeral.
