When I was a plot of soil you gave me colors

You planted flowers in my soul

Lilies, roses, daisies, sunflowers,lavender

I just wish I would have realized

You planted so many beautiful flowers you clouded my lungs

And while you were still planting I could not breathe

They were oh so beautiful

I just wish you would never have planted forget-me-nots within my heart

Because no matter how hard I try I cannot forget the beauty of death
