I feel like I'm not living my life
I stumble around
Do things I think I should
I make no real progress
I go through motions
Keep busy
But all I am is a spectator
I warn participation points for attending
When I have not done a thing
Maybe life is just one big participation game
Everyone dipping their feet in the water
Nobody getting too wet
Everyone is too afraid to jump right in
So we stand on the sides
And we try to be content with what we have
But those who have want more
And those who don't have want
